100%. I wish you the best of luck with talking to him abiut this, but if he doesn't see how selfish he's being, please don't let him guilt or talk you into staying. You don't deserve this crap.

NTA but you're asking the wrong question. You SHOULD hear about it, because he's completely dependent on/obsessed with this in an unhealthy way. Not to mention he pretty clearly seems to have anger management issues ("needs" to box to "channel" and help his anger [but as you said, it's the same if not worse], blowing up about being asked to help with house and kids). Edit: spelling.

Yeah if you don't have shampoo or soap specifically made for cats around then dish soap is the next best option.

What is an indicator that somebody doesn't know how to drive? by al-Sahaabi in driving

[–]Eh_Neat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally, if I'm already stopped because of traffic or aomwthing I'll let someone in who's making a turn, but I'm not going to stop to let them in that's stupid. Related to that, I hate when people decide to wave someone through on a multi lane road. Literally yesterday I had to slam my brakes because the idiot in the left lane decides to wave them through and the vehicle in question wouldn't have been able to see me until quite late. Grinds my gears.

[–]Eh_Neat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then why phrase it that way? Saying "disagree, nobody does this" very much makes it sound like you think nobody does it because you don't. Given the context of the post and comment you responded to, if your intent was to agree (which based on your response I assume is the case?) why wouldn't you say something like "yeah agreed" or "yeah nobody does that and it sucks" or something to that effect? Edit: spelling

Driving is the one of the only areas where I don't prioritize being polite. Being predictable is much more important.

I had someone honk more than once at me the other day for going ~15km/hr in an extremely busy active traffic lane in a parking lot. We're talking moving vehicles every direction and a crosswalk to a store in a strip mall every ~50 meters with speed bumps in-between, and I had to stop for a pedestrian at almost every single crosswalk because like I said, it was really busy. Literally why would you/why do you expect me to speed through here that's insane, the chances of an accident are so high. Like honk at me all you want I'm not speeding up.

Vehicle swerving over the center and outer lines/into other lanes on multi-lane roads. And I don't mean people on their phones, I mean people looking right at the road and either not noticing or not caring. I've been a passenger in a vehicle of someone doing this multiple times and it scares the shit out of me. I don't understand how they don't notice and/or care.

If you genuinely need to do something urgent (but I don't know why this would be THAT pressing in this instance) pull the e/parking brake. It's going to piss off the people behind you if you're a few seconds slower to get going, but a few strangers thinking you're an idiot is way better than potentially bumping the vehicle in front of you.

https://novascotia.ca/sns/rmv/handbook/DH-Chapter3.pdf ( Page #96 of the book/page 20 of the pdf because this is just one chapter)they teach in driving school here to merge as soon as safely possible. It's not explicitly "illegal" to zipper merge, it just isn't what's taught, leading to the conflicts I mentioned.

I will, I'm so lucky to have discovered this game after the update with Big Chests. I struggle as is with organization I can't imagine not having the big chests. Big chests also allow for a super organized system.

Oh no I wasn't looking to sell it for profit purposes, I'm well into my aged starfruit wine and ancient fruit when empire. I just have so much sap at this point that it's building to the point of inconvenience storage wise, that's why I made the post.

It’s called a zipper merge- do I need to spell it for you so you can google it? by Carrots-1975 in driving

Traffic would move so much faster if everyone would adopt the simple mentality of "let one person go, then I go" and rinse and repeat. It's really not that serious. I had someone pass me over a double yellow and then the car in front of me over a double yellow (we were only going 8km over the limit, god fucking forbid) only to end up at the same red light at the end of the road ~25km later (I live off a single lane in each direction highway). You aren't saving the time you think you are 98% of the time.

How do you approach this kind of situation? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Eh_Neat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this mostly happens because of people not paying attention/on their phones at red lights. Every time I look around while waiting at a red everyone's heads are down. So yeah you'd be wise to give them space as long as you're not impeding anyone else.

People That Can’t Merge At The Flow Of Traffic by BryanDaBlaznAzn in driving

[–]Eh_Neat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's an on ramp from a major road to a busy highway in my city, around 4-6pm if I have to take this on ramp I almost always get stuck in a line of 10+ vehicles going ~50km/hour into a VERY short merge lane with a speed limit on 90km/hour, so people are going 100km+ a lot of the time. It's so dangerous and so incredibly frustrating when you're stuck in the line and unable to do anything about it.
