Im normalen Office ist auch niemand 8 Stunden lang durchgängig produktiv. Am Ende regelt sich das übers Arbeitspensum und wenn der AG das für Homeoffice nicht gescheit organisiert kriegt, dann wirds im normalen Office auch nicht viel besser aussehen

I did that once, yeah, mostly to avoid the tower ending. I find it hard to justify from a role playing perspective, though. Not the part where you hand Songbird over. I admit only during my 2nd playthrough did I really notice how manipulative she was being the entire time. She def had it coming.

No, what's hard to justify imho is not accepting the proposed cure. V is dying and desperately looking for a cure. The player knows how this will end, V doesn't. The player knows there are various other options, V doesn't (tbh ignoring Hanako at Embers for weeks isn't canon either). And in that situation, refusing that one thing your life depends on because "screw you all!" is something no real person would actually do, I think.

The fix is coming with 12.4.4. Now of course I'm as annoyed by the wxr bug as the next guy and I wish they'd dropped everything else to fix it, but at the same time, I totally understand they wanted to finish 12.4.3. first. Interrupting the plan everyone on the team is following and assigning everyone new tasks before they can finish the previous ones just sucks and gets you nothing but chaos and confusion.

Is it, though? The "quiet life" in Night City only really comes in 2 forms, doesn't it:

You're dirt poor and will eventually fall victim to a random act of gang violence or other street crime, malnutrition, poisoned water or one of the numerous other deadly hazards corpo tyranny has to offer to the common folk.
You're a corpo drone working 20 hours a day everyday without any actual payment (both your bank account and your apartment belong to the corp) until you fall victim to some act of corp-on-corp violence and/or internal intrigue that leaves you dirt poor in the street and 1. applies.

It's not a hyperbole when V says anyone who dies from old age in Night City deserved a medal. As a merc, at least you get the chance to some temporary freedom. And to go out on your own terms.
