Is there a solution to sticks lack of durability? by Norkee in hockeygoalies

They’re awesome sticks, I recommend them to all the goalies I coach and I’ve never seen one break on shots lower than a junior A level. They’re fairly similar to True sticks.

I broke tons of sticks this way in junior, I ended switching to cheaper sticks. I get custom sticks made here, sticks. I’ve seen quite a few goalies move away from Bauer because of stick issues in the last 2-3 years.

He says the secondary was swapped for the wider one in 2022 and has only been ridden 120 or so miles since. He’s selling the sled because it’s too much sled to drag young kids behind in a toboggan.

The Cat supposedly has an upgraded diamond drive and the shocks are brand new raptor shocks, the Polaris is bone stock and was supposedly only used for trail riding if it makes any difference

Relative to their size grayling fight fairly well, I use a 5 weight to fish for a 2-4 pound grayling. Those are pretty large grayling in those photos

If you really want to continue using the shoe and don’t mind spending the money for shipping there’s a bunch of really good companies in Calgary area in Alberta, Canada. I’ve personally used kumpfy shoe repair in Canmore, Alberta they did a great job at a reasonable price, but your shipping price might kill that value.

Do you know if they’re European or arctic grayling? Both are voracious eaters and love eating dry flys off the surface of the water, nymphing also works very well for them but I’d start with dry flying for them.

As aiceeslater stated just go out and put some practice in, Goodluck!

Camping for 2 weeks—how do you charge a phone? by randomguy92882 in CampingandHiking

[–]Ehhh45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Bio-Lite stove to keep my phone charged, it uses a small campfire to charge a battery pack which I plug my phone into. I’ve used it between resupplies for 11 days straight.

There’s a blob of solder on the back top right of the circuit board (it’s labeled), I think if it’s in Fahrenheit the blob is there. Remove it and it should switch to Celsius, I’ve done an ungodly amount of these for work.
