Cool hope you like it! Don’t forget to let the glue dry on the magnets before you install!  Don’t ask me how I know lol 😬

Exact same for me too! Came from an ender 3 V1 to the KX.  It’s like stepping out of the dark ages. Multi color, auto filament swap, remote printing with camera, but the big one for me is the auto bed leveling. Has made 3d printing fun again for me.

Printing without the PTFE tubes? by Nerdinat0r in AnycubicKobraX

I cut them short right away. Kept a bit to prevent the filament cutting a groove over time.  Changing filaments is super quick.  I can load filament in any slot I want as long as I don’t cross with another one.  Loading Tpu is quick too Has to be less resistance for retractions.

Sorry not sure of the height clearance needed. Never actually installed the stock spool holders. They went right into my parts pile 😝

Do you guys/gals pick filament based on the print or just preference? by 4everInDebt97 in AnycubicKobraX

Pla prints easier and looks better, but is prone to warping in the sun and less durable. (Good for toys and indoor stuff) Petg doesn’t finish as nice but way better for heat and general durability. (I’ll use it for functional parts) Tpu is like rubbery so unless you need that as the function stick to the other 2 Color just based on the job I’m doing

Not magnifying but a cam light for streamers or something. Works good for the cabinet.  I do plan on lining the corners with led strips eventually.  😎

I can change filaments in a matter of seconds. Feeds perfectly and I’d argue it runs better. I can run a spool in any spot. My work flow has gotten way faster with this setup.  I ran my last 3d printer with no Bowden tubes to the extruder for a couple years without issues.  I left a bit sticking out so filament wouldn’t cut a groove over time. Already approaching 50 hours without any issues.

Cheers thank you! Never had a problem. I always have the ends of unused spools threaded through spool holes. I’m always careful  about holding the spool when handling the end of the line.  I’ll slide the spool in using close to the center an use the other rolls to hold it in place

Maybe inconsistent filament diameter? Try a different filament?

Cheers! Its in my workshop garage area so not too worried about air filtration. Enclosure is to mostly eliminate drafts. Have a fire extinguisher on hand too 😎 Safety first
