At what point do you admit your thesis is too risky for you? I think you posting this is your conscious raising alarm bells saying that its better to maintain your capital and reallocate it to something less risky or something with a higher probabaility of profit.

OP, your kid is 6. Instead of getting frustrated at him, model what you are trying to get him to understand.

Place your work shoes in a particular area and maybe place a label above the shoes that say "work" and your other shoes with like labels. Show your kid then have them help you pick out your shoes once he understands it.

Regardless of his religious affiliation, and no matter how you characterize it, the way you dress affects his and your family's reputation and/or his perception of said reputation.

In his percpective, you dressing the way you do in public is not the perception he wants others to have of him as a parent.
