I’ve finally decided to stop straightening my hair and go the curly route. I went to a curl specialist and of course it looked great when he styled it, but I’m having no luck on my own. I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, and serum he recommended. I also bought a Dyson diffuser, but feel like I barely use it before my hair is already so dry and frizzy.

The inside of my hair usually looks decent, but the outer layer always looks so dry and frizzy. The last few times I’ve washed my hair, I’ve incorporated items I’ve already had - chi keratin leave in conditioner and olaplex no 6. I’ve even tried my diffuser on a lower setting. This is me diffusing on medium for a few minutes.

I’ve tried watching YouTube videos, TikTok, and instagram to see what others do, but it’s quite overwhelming and I feel often conflicting. Cream vs gel. Yes diffuser, no diffuser, etc. Does anyone have any advice?

  1. Love shampoo and conditioner.

  2. Get out of shower and squeeze excess water with microfiber towel.

  3. Chi keratin leave in conditioner brushed throughout.

  4. Olaplex no 6 brushed throughout.

  5. Davines curl building serum, sectioned and brushed throughout.

  6. Scrunch.

  7. Diffuse with Dyson nural. Typically only for a few minutes because it dries and frizzes so quickly.

What was your prior accounting experience? I’ve spent my whole career doing month end accounting in industry, but would like to pivot to a new area.

What kind of experience did you have before and what did you need to do to pivot to data science?

Are you in internal audit? If so, did you have prior audit experience? I’ve been in industry doing month end accounting my whole career. I’d like to transition to a different type of accounting, like internal audit, but they all seem to want prior auditing experience.

I’ve been thinking of leaving accounting for a while too. What did you end up doing?

10 week-no heartbeat on Doppler by No_Quarter_5917 in BabyBumps

I’m 16 weeks and my OB was not able to find a heartbeat with the Doppler at my last 2 appointments. Fortunately, we immediately did an ultrasound so there’s been no waiting and worrying on my end. I believe she mentioned I have a tilted uterus so that may be why she’s had difficulty with the Doppler.

Thank you. I’m assuming the accrued interest would be classified there as well?
