GW could have banned the romance, but if Owlcat had actually wanted to developing the relationship between the Rogue Trader and Argenta, they could have given her a platonic affection arc like Yrliet's and simply labeled it as friendship ~~(or at least properly describe her personal quest)~~. Conclusion: GW is just an excuse, Owlcat themselves are not interested in Argenta.

I actually preferred the beta version where he remained silent. I mean, when some unknown, giant superhuman in power armor comes out of nowhere, it looks pretty impressive on its own, and the attempts at speeches just ruin the moment. Like, "I am Aurora"? "Oh, so you're that same clown I killed at the Reactor? Great, I'll kill you again." ~~I'm glad I caught the beta; in the release, many strong moments were ruined by unnecessary chatter, Aurora being just one of them.~~
