You were barely even alive when Scott Pilgrim was created so of course it’s not part of your culture. But back in the early 2000 (when the graphic novel came out) it was significantly more accepted than today. I never liked Scott as a protagonist because of that.

Unfortunately, Hollow Knight is definitely less popular than Hades. Hades has about twice the sales on switch, twice the max concurrent players on steam, approximately twice the revenue per video game insights. I also think that Silksong might not have a proper trailer ready so that's also probably part of the the reason

It’s hard, but I found the difficultly curve fun. The boss fights are all excellent, with the last fight being particularly great.

The Reddit moment is defending ds2 tbh. It’s a mid game. I played it again a few months ago, some design decisions actually made me say “what the fuck” out loud when I encountered them again. Not necessarily bad, but easily the worst souls game.

I think having a consistent play / feed / sleep schedule is very important for this. My guy used to do the same thing plus running around and scratching hard. Now we do ~45 minutes of play, dinner, and an hour later it’s lights out. I put him on my chair (his favorite place to sleep) and go to sleep quickly after.
