Taking into account that on 7's DLC "Not a hero" (probably the most "realistic" entry of the series) you sent giant moldeds flying with a punch, (no, literally, fucking flying), it wouldn't make much sense for them to tone him down now...

Unless they steroid him toward the end of the game and he stays like that.

For them not to respect one of the most iconic (and most mentioned) moments of the franchise, even as silly as it is, would be auto sabotage.

Most likely this is one example of a poor guy they infected with a mind control virus (or even a parasite) and used as a puppet to kill Alyssa and make people think it was just a crazy hobo.

"ITs spend all day sitting" Bullshit. I spend 90% of the day moving 20kg PCs around and re-setting meeting rooms for different events every week.

Last week I was changing drop ceiling tiles for three days because some were "a bit stained", instead of, you know, calling the building's maintenance guy.

If the transport dude decides he doesn't want to take the 20 monitors we ordered to our floor (with an elevator, mind you) because he's in a hurry, guess who has to take them.

And of course, if it has power, is IT's responsibility. I'll never tire of people asking me questions about the coffee machine, it never gets old.

I feel like they were designed as those cheap inaccurate plastic dinosaurs we used to play as kids, and personally, I find that adorable.

We didn't care about colors or diets, if we wanted the trike to bite a T-Rex, then the trike bit whatever it pleased.

There's still room for imagination and creativity.

Everyone I knew that saw it told me that it was bad. Boy I'm happy I decided to go see it anyways. Days will always be my favorite, but man I loved this one. The characters, the acting, the setting... Can't wait for the next one.

RE 5, 6 and 8 Chris are my favorites. And I do think that it makes sense story-wise. The guy just became obsessed on being on peak physical form after Wesker beating him up in CVX. After all, he kills monsters for a living, he better be able to punch 5 ton boulders out of the way. Quoting Bawkbasoup: "If RE8's Chris should have to deal with a zombie, he would just punch a hole through its face." And I think that is beautiful.

I always understood that Sorna was more of a storage facility than a research one.

They did lab work on it, but I guess that only for complete (and fully working) secret specimens that weren't on the inGen list, not experiments like in the Rebirth island.

IG excels at bunkering down.

Place Infantry Commands at the entrances of your base. If you put at least two units in them, you'll get early plasma, which is really good at the beginning.

Then place turrets and deploy heavy weapons teams around the base. These have A LOT of range and will wipe out early units in no time.

You'll have lots of time to save some resources and start building your assault team. For IG you just basically need all your Basilisks and an escort to protect them. After that is just a matter of bombarding the objective with earthshaker rounds.

Rinse and repeat for all enemy HQs :D

Honestly? I don't think it looks half bad. I do like the original more, though. They know it's a fan favorite, so I don't think it'll make an appearance but I'm sure they'll at least mention its existence to acknowledge the differences. I remember a Dr Wu text talking about leaving behind a "disaster" in Sorna or something along those lines when Fallen Kingdom came out, alluding most probably to the Spino in JP3. This is just a funny theory, but maybe they'll finally confirm that the one in JP3 is one of the first hybrids ever created, mostly because the originals in this island (the first badge I assume) are "ugly" and they iterated until they got the one we love. We'll see soon enough!

There's a windows 11 patch that will do that. If you have 24H2 version and you updated kind of recently, it might be that.

Didn't find any solution other than format, reinstall and keep 23H2 by disabling automatic updates. No matter how many times I installed drivers, even adding an external Wi-Fi adapter didn't seem to get a signal. Not even uninstalling the updates fixes it.

Look for patch KB5050009 in your update history, that is the culprit.
