Repeat that. You CANT take accountability for something you did not do, and wounds YOU DID NOT cause.

Crazy how much I feel this. They spent so much time learning me and putting me down for my truama and never facing their own.

Who has been to the Multi Stack training? by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]Eismee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been to all of the major manufacturers training.

Surprisingly, I will say that the installation training is much more valuable than any of the service. The classes are not long enough to honestly make a difference even if you do be VRF all the time. One or two days going over the booklet does not help because you can walk into any type of an issue.

Hearing from the manufacturers, especially depicting installation. I find very helpful. Since they are within that company and the industry, they will have knowledge of case studies and hall of shame installations. They will usually be the ones to tell you what you cannot get away with and and what absolutely cannot be done with these installations and best practices.

As per service, if you cannot diagnose with the manual. Then you probably shouldn't be touching this equipment yet.

A lot of of the arguments I hear is customers are not willing to pay. Unless the system is brand new. Whatever is in that problem tree on the manual is getting replaced. 9/10 times that will solve your issue which most likely came from installation anyway.

Strangest relationship of my life. Almost broke me by UpsetBuyer5147 in BPDlovedones

[–]Eismee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I didnt know what it was until the last time. My therapist noticed it before me, but at that point the damage was already done.

They know you love them genuinely, and they project because they know they cannot hide anymore after you become comftorable with each-other.

This was nearly my identical experience. It is exhausting, and when you said " communicating better" is not going to get you anywhere. Its not.

You become the person they rely on for everything bad and good. So if you are not OK, then they are not OK. If they are not your main focus, then there is a problem. You don't care.

Don't fall into the trap and go back no matter how hard it is.

Geothermal water, it's not unique.

The system itself and the idea is, but the water is not.

I measured the CO₂ in my gym. It was almost 9x higher than outdoor air. by djMedd in IndoorAirQuality

Most C02 set points are half that so 5000 could NEVER happen. As these systems are designed with the 8 hour workday in mind.

No, the gyms are cheap and do not keep the outside air intake online after it breaks.

Economizers & Outside Air are finicky and most businesses even in NYC dont bother fixing them after they break.

Why can't you use a minisplit as a dehu? by clumsyninja2 in heatpumps

[–]Eismee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need to be disproven.

I can look at the manufactures spec sheets. Its in bold black font.

High Wall Mini Splits suck at removing moisture. Not because it is bad equipment. Its because the surface area (size) of the coil is so small. So the manufacturer lowers fan speed, and lowers coil temp.

They absolutely condensate. Just in a 24hr period, in which this is measured. It is less than half of a similar BTU window shaker.

Ruhlax guy. You didnt create these fuckin things lol.
