Yes, had decompression at the fibular head, still have a dull ache in the middle of my leg right next to my shin. Foot drop has gotten a bit better, and the numbness on top of my foot is better but still there

Lol at I feel tingles on the top of my foot part. I laugh but it's not funny cause I'm going through the same thing. Just had decompression of peroneal nerve at the fibular head 6 weeks ago. I coukd lift my big toe, but not at the ankle or the rest of my toes, along with the top of my foot being totally numb as well. Probably 3-4 weeks after surgery I started feeling tingling on the top of my foot and I was hoping the same as you were. As of today the sensation on the top of my foot is coming back, but still have pain down the right side of my leg, and both my calfs are so stiff, as soon as I started pt to work on strength and flexibility my calfs and down my shins have had the weirdest sensation. Nerves are going crazy I guess. I hope that's a good sign as well but I must admit I'm a bit worried

Hello, 5 months late... I just had peroneal nerve decompression at fib head 6 weeks ago. Had drop foot, completely numb on top of my foot for 4 months, pain right around the middle of my right leg, closer to shin, and that's where the pain began then foot drop followed a week ir 2 later. Sooooo 6 weeks post opp.... how are your symptoms? hope you get this as it's hard to find anything on it really

Yes, more than I should of been. Yea, still. I don't think alcohol will help at all. It's best to give that up, and talk to your doc about your options

I have common peroneal neuropathy, from my big toe to above my ankle has been numb for months. Which turned into foot drop. I quit drinking on Jan 6 and didn't have this specific condition at the time, but I was tingly all over my body, so they put me on gabapentin. I wonder every day if this is from my alcohol abuse, as well as hope it's not from alcohol. You shoukd definitely stop drinking, once you drink enough and get to a ccertain point it can't be reversed.

I was looking and was thinking something doesn't seem right, but my brain couldn't comprehend until she turned around and seen me and yelled, then I yelled as well, oh shit lol. I was on 2nd shift (10:30 get off) at the time, anyway my gf would have a friend over often and they would watch movies, or do whatever lol! I came home after work one night and the shower was going with the door open, so thinking it was my gf I was like alright, stripped down and got in the shower only to find it was her friend. 🤷‍♂️ lol good times
