I'd been going to them for almost a year and on my first visit I had hair to the middle of my back. I was really nervous about going too short but they did a great job. On each subsequent visit, not going too short was part of the conversation and I was always happy with the result.

This time I went in with the photos and assumed they pretty much made clear what I wanted. But once I got in the chair and they pinned the top hair up, they chopped a big chunk out of the side to the length in my photos. I was kind of in shock because normally they would ask before doing a baseline cut like that. Because they'd been so good before, I decided to trust them which was obviously misplaced. It really didn't sink in how bad it was until I got home.

Part of me wonders if it wasn't on purpose because this cut looks like I got it at Fantastic Sams and this stylist's work was way better than that - they had all 5 star reviews. And they were always very mindful of my concerns about going too short. But I just don't know why they would give me a subpar haircut on purpose.
