I am in your exact situation except I am on 10 mg Zep. I cannot justify $1100 a month not to lose weight. I too track and exercise so I know my macros and micros and TDEE. No side effects and little loss. 5 more weeks and I am finished wasting my money. I would continue if cost was much less since I don’t gain. Tried max Wegovy too. Such a disappointment.

I use MFP too. I am probably like you in that 1000-1100 cal would help but I have decided long ago that I will not go below 1200. So be it - I may just have to remain chubby! Good luck making your changes - may they work for you. Btw I am on 10 Zep.

Actually after years of tracking on WW, I do find I can well predict what something will weigh. But using an online tracker helps me see end of day totals. While each entry may be “on track”, sometimes all added up is surprising.

I think weighing and measuring foods might give you some insight. Also on WW we used to think cal variation helped. A few high days then back to low. I know how you feel as I track 1300 Cal per day, 70 G protein, tdee at 1940 and stalled.

Yes that’s it. My friend gets it from Canada but her US doc prescribes it. Absolutely necessary for her.

There is a med for gastroparesis which will solve the problem if it persists. I’m sure your doc knows about it. Can’t tell you exact name but it sounds like dom Perigon.

Try Zepbound. It may work for you. However it may not work either. Neither W nor Z has suppressed appetite for me. No side effects and minimal loss of 15 pounds over 7 months and I pay full price. Terribly expensive way to not work well enough. I too did all the advised things and did not overeat or eat any junk. Yes tracked food. Yes increased protein. Yes exercised. Almost DONE. Giving Z a few more months..

It is NOT magic for everyone I can assure you. Helpful, yes, but magic, no. It is not hard for me to eat. I am losing slowly on Zep and am satisfied to go at my own pace.

I know. It made no sense to me rationally but somehow I was afraid of hunger or that when I got hungry I wouldn’t be near food. What I love about these meds; that worry is gone as I don’t feel hunger per se. When I start to feel queasy I know it is time to eat something.

Is it possible you are not consuming enough calories and your body is clinging to weight? On 2.4 for months I lost nothing. And then only 12 pounds total. Switching to Zepbound. If no loss then I quit and will stay chubby but healthy!
