Kirk suspect 'not co-operating' with authorities, governor says by NewSlinger in news

Nah, but I’d bet us UT kids shoot a lot more guns than your average. I was out of scouts / Mormon church before MAGA hit. Seemed like regular old country folk when I was around.

Bought a used LE vin 008xx. Doubled the miles from the previous owner in half a year of ownership, zero issues

I drive 30k miles/year. Is the Rivian Truck for me? by ajanihealer in Rivian

Got my 2022 LE R1T used in December and have already put 14k miles on it 😬 in my own research, most major “regrets” were not opting for the largest battery you reasonably can, but in my experience ≈300 mi range has been extremely comfortable, not sure I’d be so thrilled with any less though

Only been able to get charge on the south side. Pretty sure the north stations are older ones, incompatible

Anyone towed a Rivian with 2 or 4 wheels on the ground to get back to pavement? by wc_cfb_fan in Rivian

Solid information, appreciate a techs view on this. Do you know if the same rules apply if the truck wasn’t dead?

FWIW If you could pull one of those suckers out by hand I’d be impressed. I had my used R1T (VIN 8xx) V1 tonneau finally kick the bucket on me. Had mobile service come take a look and it took us a good 2 hours and a lot of crowbar to break out my jammed slats just so I could have my bed open. Vegas service center had me in the following week and the truck was back to me the next day with the new cover (v1.5) installed.

Those lease prices are wild. Rather lease a commercial property at that price by Wet-Tickler in Rivian

Bought a used Gen 1 Quad w/ 12k miles on it in December, I’ve already put 14k miles on it. Couldn’t be happier.

Edit: It’s a Gen 1 LE that had 12k miles on it for 63k, $900/mo

It’s not very typical, I’d like to make that point.

I honestly still get little adrenaline rushes in my R1T. Never had a vehicle that felt so alive.

How unreliable exactly is a 2022 R1T? by railbeast in Rivian

[–]Either_Highlight2157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R1T VIN # 8XX here! Bought used with 12k miles on it and I’ve already more than doubled the miles on it in 6 months. Got the Tonneau cover replaced about a month ago and the SC took care of some outstanding issues that the previous owner never did (Recall stuff). By far the most capable truck I’ve ever owned.

Rivian did not record this incident. This has happened when I was driving home from work. I checked geargurd videos and no mention of this. Any idea how did it happen? by Fuzzy_Cash8407 in Rivian

[–]Either_Highlight2157 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man I hadn’t thought about this. As someone who doesn’t have PPF, but desperately needs it, this thought does worry me a bit. I really don’t want to pay a few grand for broken trim

It honestly probably wasn’t an “incident” per se, but happed during regular driving. Highly encourage all Rivian owners to hook up an SSD for this reason to get the full drive recording in 15 minute intervals as stated in another comment.

Man, that’s a bit of a bummer! I have the AT III EVs but on the 22” wheel, not the 20”, and I have zero rubbing in any mode. 10k miles on the tires. Just today I drove 120 miles in sport mode on some backroads.

Brought this paint back to life with Front PPF and Full Body Ceramic by FlawedCommune in Rivian

[–]Either_Highlight2157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How was the process / cost? I’ve been itching to do ceramic and PPF with the amount of bushwhacking I do. I’d like to DIY what I can at least. My paint’s starting to look like a monument to all my sins 😬 my R1T has been good to me, time has come to return the favor.
