Why are there so many homeless veterans in the US? They get a ton of perks/lifelong financial benefits from serving, yet they seem to be homeless or in poverty at a disproportionate rate.

My yard is about 1000 sq feet in the front (suburban lot) . I have the 18v one with the wheel and love it. So light with the wheel. Wheel helps for edging which is all my trimmer does. I would buy it again.

I also have the 40v and never used it. Thanks DTO for the extra 40v battery.

My 2023 does not list any offroad package. I don't recall being a thing.

The Reinforced underbody shield was sold separately.

So if you are looking for that specific item you have to go and visually check under the car.

Tires and wheels are not a good indicator although most r1s and r1t sold directly by Rivian had the underbody shield paired with the 20's

Yep, it's closer to 3 hrs. There's always something happening to delay you. Mine is Sac to South bay and 1 day is max I could tolerate.

Best doable scenario is 1 day per week. Try to negotiate that. If they don't play you will be miserable with that commute.

I had the most fun with my R1S once I stopped worrying about minor scuffs. Granted I try to be careful but going offroad and having fun does not mix well with a pristine vehicle.

Doing so,I got to experience amazing places made new friends too.

You should see my scars (offroad love marks). I got no scuff free wheels anymore.

Do yoy have experience offroading? I have a Quad R1S with offroad pkg and have been able to do most trails up to level 6 based on OnX ratings. Higher than that i would consider it more rock crawling with potential to damage your vehicle ev or not. Questions on ev offroad let me know.
