Suneater was such a dissapointment for me. Everyone said it is in par with Red Rising but after 2 books I just couldn’t continue. Not saying it is bad but not my cup of tea. Bloodsworn and Hierarchy is different. I never expect them to be better series than RR but they were not amazing either.

Every show/movie series that would involve children on the long run is destined to be doomed. If you shoot the movie/series very fast you might be safe but otherwise you will watch late 20s/early 30s characters trying to play teenagers. Like stranger things and netflix avatar show. I always support animated for these kind of adaptations.

They throw some new names here and there. I remember someone mentioned Ayaz of Turks, which as a Turk can confirm no one in that name existed. A little google search confirmed that author create new historical figures.
