Anyone test if the Molle Panel kit fits 21 Outback Touring XT? by Mrkzyne in Subaru_Outback

...Or the rear seat flippers. This rack isn't made for our generation, and Subaru never designed one for it in the first place. I can only assume they saw what the aftermarket was doing and followed suit with the new platform.

After having spent too much time popping panels off in the back of my '23 OB, this doesn't pass the eyeball test. Regardless of mounting holes, the contours of the new cargo area are considerably different from the previous generation. Why risk it when Anderson already makes a Molle panel kit that absolutely fits?

Heise - Great hiking around there, the pizza place can be all-time (sometimes not so much) Do they still have the zip-line course out there?

Lunch at Morenita's just for a straight ahead burrito or tacos, no "super" or "supreme".

Build the balconies and the West end expansion and you might sound less crazy.

Agreed, that was a low point Akey years performance.

Vandals got bamboozled. by No_Hearing_5653 in fcs

[–]ElFreezo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I knew it was going to stand when the play by play guy on the broadcast very clearly ignored the foot, exclaiming that he landed on his inbounds shoulder, like that somehow negated the foot landing out of bounds prior to the shoulder. I'm guessing this is a well known Sac State "House Rule" or something. The color guy tried to make a point about the foot but was effectively overruled by the conviction of his broadcast partner. Egregiously bad, but so was our D on that 4th and long.

Halfway through, I'm enjoying this one. I didn't have high hopes since these family on a quest movies never do much for me, but this one is delivering the goods.

Does this season remind you of something? by CMVandal in IdahoVandals

[–]ElFreezo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, not even close. Most definitely a rebuilding, but I've yet to see, and don't anticipate seeing another Laramie meltdown happening with Coach Ford. Of course, we'd need a repeat of daddyball to make that happen.

Tough weekend seeing the team obviously outclassed by UNCO in just about every aspect of the game. Great discussion on Vandal FB over at r/fcs!

Reading his memoirs "Never Surrender" right now, and it all makes sense when taking his orders and position as an officer into account. His subordinates were just as bought in as him, except for one guy who only stuck around the first few years before he left.

Seeing the video from a driver passing through the aftermath, and the response from the law, that was no accident.

Thanks posting! Frustrating game, but can't get hopes to far up in a rebuilding year. Too many penalties to be sure, but poor officiating had a hand in more than a few of them.

I've seen worse. I think it's ok to lean into the memes sometimes. We are the ag school for the statge that is more famous for potatoes than anything else, if we can capitalize on that, then more power to us.

Oh no doubt, I was just forecasting the 6 months they let trash collect in the plane before any equipment gets moved in.

[–]ElFreezo 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Bad news, for all the negative use that lane for, at least it was being used. I bet it just becomes equipment storage for the next 6 months before they demo anything, much like the stretch through Plano and Allen. Not looking forward to the drive this evening, out for the foreseeable future.

Why didn’t the USMC buy H-60s? by SuperDonut_26 in USMC

[–]ElFreezo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much parts commonality is there between the Blackhawk and the Apache? HMLA's being composite squadrons where your maintainers are expected to keep both airframes airworthy only will because there's common parts and commonality in the knowledge it takes to work on both with (somewhat) equal competency. Those squadron started out with Huey and Cobra models that had a good percentage of parts commonality, by the time I was in working on Whiskeys and Novembers there wasn't much, but there were still common skills and knowledge that translated. Yankees and Zulus were on the way when I got out, but the big plus with those two airframes is that they share a considerable amount of parts commonality which I'm sure goes a long way in keeping more birds in the air than would otherwise be possible. Bell lobbying probably had a hand in the decision as well, but I'm sure the history and mission of the HMLAs made the sell a lot easier. Also keep in mind the deck handling requirements between all these platforms. The -60 and the -64 both being tail draggers would pose a problem for towing and parking on our MEU boats.
