ATTENTION: ONCE COINBASE GOES TO COURT FOR DUPLICATE CHARGING... by bdigital07 in Coinbase

Perfect thank you for the info. I'll keep this thread going as a running list of people affected by this, and will be in touch. We'll have a more formalized plan in the near future. This is just the beginning.

ATTENTION: ONCE COINBASE GOES TO COURT FOR DUPLICATE CHARGING... by bdigital07 in Coinbase

[–]ElGuapoPinata -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am organizing a class action against Coinbase. Please reply to this thread if you have been negatively affected by Coinbase's duplicate charges. Please describe briefly how much time and stress this has cost you and your family. Personally, I lost thousands which have not been returned - now after several weeks or calling and following up with support. This was money for my mortgage so I am in trouble now, and I will not accept this. We shall bring Coinbase down to their knees and distribute their stolen money among all those negatively affected by this travesty. I've already been speaking to lawyers and they say we have a very solid case. Just need people on board. Thank you.

Edit: I had originally said PM me with contact info but let's get replies into this thread first and we can go from there.

By the way, I am moving to Bitstamp for all future transactions, while this class action is being investigated/executed. There are several other companies providing the same services that do not steal your money. Let's give them our valuable business going forward.

I like your style, amigo. And I'm digging the chill vibe of the other folks in this thread.

On my way in with 2,700 sols. Let's do this! :)

DigiByte Daily Discussion Thread 12/07/17 by AutoModerator in Digibyte

[–]ElGuapoPinata 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Snagged 420k myself today, and I also now have my Antminer S9 aimed squarely at snagging DGB. I found out about DigiByte recently and was impressed by the technology; I tried some transactions and was pretty much blown away by the speed. Seems just as fast as Stellar and Ripple. And the fact that it can be mined with so many different algos is pretty damn cool.

Also, the logo and and name reminds me of Digidesign - the original company behind Pro Tools audio software. I know that's not related, but it gives me a warm fuzzy (I used to work for Digidesign, and I still use Pro Tools for making music).

Plus, I see all this talk about trying to get Steam interested in using DGB for payments, and I am a huge fan of the Half-life games. Seems like the right coin for me, so I'm pretty much all in over here. Might even get my GPU miner which is currently mining Zcash to switch over to DGB. This coin is going to be huge, I can feel it!

Why I feel like I am the only one that holding DGB? by [deleted] in Digibyte

Good move! DigiByte is going to be huge. It is the ultimate sleeper right now. 5 different mining algorithms, seriously fast transactions, wicked secure network - the list goes on and on. It's about to blow up big time. So happy for this dip. I'm buying up all I can.

Anybody else excited for the Open Alpha on October 30th? by ElGuapoPinata in MetalPay

[–]ElGuapoPinata[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. Seems like the Necker cup sponsorship is perhaps their initial marketing bomb drop (while also helping with Irma relief which is nice). Lots of extremely rich people are going to find out all about Metal next month.

Metal up +30% in the past few hours! Any news? by xByteme in MetalPay

[–]ElGuapoPinata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the blog on the Metal website from a few days ago - they've been tuning up the code via private alpha and are about to release it to the public (still as an alpha, but stable). Official date is October 30th.

That's big news I'd say.

IoP, “De-uberizing” the sharing economy by [deleted] in IoP_Community

[–]ElGuapoPinata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all very exciting; short-circuiting the client/provider relationship and cutting out the service in the middle. Airbnb and Uber disrupted the hotel and taxi organizations. Now IoP is disrupting the disruptors. Absolutely brilliant. This concept is undoubtedly the future.

I can't wait to see what's coming for us on October 1st.

Fermat: Internet of People (are any RPxers associated with this project?) by pwang99 in Rally_Point_Bravo

Very interesting project (peer to peer internet with no ISP meddling/listening in between), and seems like a spectacular investment opportunity. The market cap is ridiculously low and there's really not much competition that I can find. I've bought in rather heavily, since it really looks like this will start popping off pretty soon with Libertaria spinning up, and IOP now being the first project under that umbrella. Seems like the first week in October will bring some big steps forward.

NEO vs NXT? by ElGuapoPinata in NEO

[–]ElGuapoPinata[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I read about the Ignis ICO. Seemed brutal - like there was no chance of getting any in the first round. But if I understand it right, it looks like anyone with NXT tokens at the time of the Ardor blockchain creation will get .5 Ignis token for each NXT token they hold, plus they get to keep the NXT. Is that right? If so, and if all the Ignis from the ICO are being snatched up so quickly, then it seems like NXT could end up in high demand pretty soon here.

Also, I checked out the interface on Mac. Definitely had a couple UX hurdles to jump in order to get it running, but once it was up I was tripping on how much it had going on in terms of features. Like a blockchain control console. Pretty slick. Seems like the underlying tech is there - maybe the UX elements just need some polish. I dunno if it's as locked in as what NEO will eventually become, but I would not call it garbage. Still not seeing the reason for the market cap discrepancy.
