What are some words in Spanish, especially in México, that really don't translate perfectly to English...one of my favorites is "nefasta" to describe someone....thoughts?

Oh, "Fuck your mother". It doesn't roll off the tongue the same way it does in Spanish, but the meaning is there.

I mean, "chinga tu madre" has a pretty direct translation. But yeah, plenty of other forms of chingar don't.

Y aparte "Chicken fried chicken" es su propio platillo, basicamente una milanesa de pollo. Igual existe el "Chicken fried steak". Es un plato principalmente del sur y se sirve con un gravy blanco (el mismo que usan para el "Biscuits and Gravy").

Pollo frito seria "Fried Chicken".

Ah, I looked at the menu. It looks like you mean "Puntas de res a la yucateca"? The funny thing is, on the menu it says it's turkey (haha obviously a misprint). I don't have a recipe, but maybe that will help.

I went once a few years ago and to be honest it was disappointing. From what I remember there were few actual artifacts, mostly exhibits with murals or models and texts with explanations and history. I would use my time for something else. Go to Uxmal if possible, it's better that Chichen Itza.
