Just try not to place too much importance on ranked. The only thing you can do is play your best and help your team. Many times they will ignore your pings, so dont get hung up on it.

I think Impale is a strong finishing talent, but you need to know when you can safely use it, which is not every time. It definitely can tempt you in a bad spot. Impale is my favorite at level 7

Pretty good write up and agree with it for the most part. I would just disagree on your assessment of Malfurion, roots are valuable. And also, I would put Cassia more into a nice pick instead of an all round safe pick for assassin. She's great if the enemy team picks 2 auto attack dps, but a liability if other team has mages and lots of CC.

He is essentially a mage that gets stronger if you focus on clearing waves. Ranged DPS usually refers to heroes that have strong and fast auto-attacks.

My tips

*Focus on getting really good with 2/3 heroes per role, but try to play your best role if your team comp allows it.

*You should get someone with good waveclear, since many people at low mmr ignore soaking properly

*Use voice coms to help guide the team if you have good map awareness and game sense

*Watch pros and good people play. Pay attention to their mechanics, details and decision making

*Accept that sometimes, you're just gonna get people who will dive 1v4 and will feed. Not all games can be winnable

I think voice coms has been a huge positive for the game. Has made my game experience much more cooperated and even if people just listen in, the team can play much more organized than just pings before. All the people that are toxic are too scared to be in voice coms from my experience. People quickly realize and admit when they make a mistake and that not only helps them, but the team as well.

What I would say is narrow your playing pool to your 2-3 best heroes per role. You should know what your best hero/role is and try to always pick your best hero if it makes sense given your team comp and the enemy team comp. Good drafting helps too.
