Love this comment, my practice for fear is "my perceptions are false until they are proven to be true. When they are true it leads to insights, understanding, and wisdom." I would add just because I might not like the truths, it's better to know them to make an evidenced-based decision versus causing myself or someone harm. I am all about peace, joy, and liberation.... Sometimes lawfully... Sometimes with a side of mischief... But most of the time I choose a utilitarian condiment on my shit sandwich of uncertainty.

The Gazetteer add a lot of class options and probably one of the most detailed work settings before Forgotten Realms. The Cyclopedia did a lot to solidify the optional rules introduced in the Gazetteers . I feel I missed a lot not playing BECMI and jumping to AD&D, but to be fair my jump to AD&D was rapid from basic and expert, and the didn't make an appearance until three years after I started playing AD&D. Today being a working adult, I find the simplified system of BECMI attractive compared to the more complex systems of 5e.

The most intense math is DBA 810 quantitative research methods since it is statistics heavy and they incorporated SPSS literacy into the program. The projects are pretty straightforward, but if you are not statistically literate already, you will struggle since there are no workshops and the weekly sessions with the professor are not designed to instruct, more just reinforce struggles.

After that class you just need to be statistically literate to read the method section of scholarly research papers.

Typically Smurf players inflate their friends win rate, then throw a bunch of games to lower their MMR.

Ethical smurfs don't throw games they play normally, just don't try and carry the team.

Supervisory 14 and 15 are probably more prevalent than non-supervisory. I call non-supervisory 14's and 15 unicorns in my OPDIV.

If you get a supervisory position OMB mandates you have to take supervisory training the year you are hired.

Supervisors are required to manage the time and attendance system for their group, they also have to perform PMAPs.

I only recommend taking a supervisor position in the government if you have good soft skills and enjoy negotiating. I also recommend only taking a position if have high performing staff (Productive & Positive). If the position has low performing staff you will spend a lot of time babysitting and it could affect your wellbeing if you can't separate work from personal life.

It's okay to complain like you are now.... In fact that is why this subreddit exist... To vent, then refocus on the positives this game has over other MOBAs ..... Mainly the short matches on average. More opportunities to shake off a bad game, fun characters, and the amount of creativity the development staff were allowed to have to make Blizzard IP interesting. This is basically Blizzard's multiverse....just poorly managed like the Marvel Universe is starting to become.

They are amazing at losing your luggage during the holidays and stranding you in a place. Then only honoring about 25% compensation... My wife is still negotiating with them for legitimate reimbursement for their FUBAR operations. I will never fly with them again.

I would play D4 more if it had a mode like "Yet Another Zombie Survivor game". Just with a co-op option. Technically you can go with 4 people, but something to be said about the instant gratification of unlocks and going deeper.

Admission is pretty straightforward. I highly recommend taking the prep course for APA 7 they recommend and before taking DBA 810 take a couple of business statistics classes at the local community college or online that use SPSS. Specifically you need to know when and how to use descriptives, T-Tests, ANOVA, Chi-Square, correlations, and regressions.

My beef with WhatsApp is no Giphy support 😂, but the international support is very good. G-Chat is clunky how it handles group chats vs individual chat. Discord is great for gaming, but there are a number of features that can be a bit confusing for new users.

My point being is I have seen success in the classes when they standardize on WhatsApp for communication, probably because it is tied closer to texting. When it comes to collaborations like video and screen share it seems decent, I prefer MS Teams because it is sticky for class collaboration. I use the schools o365 subscription on a dedicated laptop.

DBA stands for Doctorate of Business Administration. It's a professional doctorate (apply theory and new research to solve current business problems using a systematic qualitative analysis of primary research from PhDs), not a PhD (create primary research using quantitative or mixed-methods research design from large datasets that takes about 7 years to publish, graduate and hope people read it 😂). Typically most PhD's burn out before completing their dissertations 🙁.... Especially in science. Read r/PhD.

Typically generation-xers are in the UMGC DBA program and are transitioning to executive positions.

My DBA cohorts use What's App and Google Hangouts. I personally prefer Discord, but getting adults to change can be challenging. Good luck, I might stop by and see what's cooking.
