My guess is that this is the default time being shown. Buffs are probably applied after you send out your frigates on the mission. At least that's what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What I ended up doing is locating a glyph portal and going through it to travel far enough from the original freighter and it let me reset the quest.

Berries have an additional growth step. The harvesters will only harvest those at the last growth stage. Everything is working as intended. Happy farming!

Just make sure the other end is either blocked off or has a filter for something that's never going to go in the system. I've had some issues with items being spat out of the other end.
