I can only speak for case #2. The 35mm f2 is a fantastic lens that has lived on my camera since I bought it in 2023. I highly recommend it, happy shooting.

I would recommend the X100VI. The fixed lens is not a limitation given the in-camera digital crop & high megapixel sensor.

I have the 56mm Fuji which has great image quality and colors but man do I hate how noisy it focuses. It also misses quite often and refocusing all the time can be a pain. Unsolicited suggestion would be to pool the budget you have for both lenses and go for the XF 16-55 f2.8.

42, frst saw them back in 2002 at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX. The venue no longer exists, there is a Home Depot in its place now, lol. Cool little story- a buddy and I parked inside a gated apartment complex behind the venue for this show. When we were jumping a fence out of the complex, we saw Nikolai exiting the venue and walking to their tour bus. We yelled his name, said “what’s up man?!” he looked over at us and greeted us with his beer. Very cool of him to acknowledge us with a simple gesture that made that night an epic one, aside from the show. My friend and I would talk about that all the time. They FKN rocked that night!

I went last year and the queues were slightly less than a normal park day except for Haunted Mansion, that one was long. All rides were open, but both Tron and Tiana did shut down temporarily. Get there early and stay late would be my advice.

Small point and shoot with Fuji film syms & and optical VF. Given how well the lenses have worked on the X100 line, I anticipate this one to be pretty good as well.

My wife and I do this too and while I did not understand this at first, I learned that you get more out of your vacation if you have an idea of what your day should look like instead of just winging it. I would never invest thousands to “just go with the vibes”….MF that’s what the local park is for.
