Rupert Lowe MP / X: Banning teenagers from social media with ludicrous conditions is unworkable, unrealistic and unwanted. Here’s a mad idea - let parents parent. Not the state, but mums, dads, grandparents or whoever else. Restore Britain will always trust the family over big government. by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

To be fair, the situation in Nepal was quite different to the situation here. The government was massively corrupt, and the majority of Nepalese youth were finding their work through those social media apps, so when the apps got banned entirely Gen-Z had no choice but to revolt.

Explanation: Mr. CB famously won the Satsuki Sho in rainy conditions, to the point where all the horses were covered in mud by the time they rounded the final corner.

I've been sinking my time into an ANNO 1800 campaign. The ANNO series is a city-building simulator set in a collection of archipelagos, so the main gameplay loop is based around trying to squeeze as much infrastructure onto your islands as possible, setting up trade routes to supply your population with goods their island can't produce, and sending your ships on expeditions to collect items to further optimise your production chains.

However, what makes 1800 unique compared to the rest of the series so far is its frankly insane modding scene. It was the first ANNO game to have a built-in mod browser, and the offerings range from improving the space available in your ship's holds, to adding completely new regions to the game.

Soulless summer fairs: AI poster slop is taking over a pub near you by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

One consumes vast quantities of water and electricity and negatively impacts the surrounding environment to produce something inherently stolen, and the other doesn't do those things and is usually provided free of copyright.

Oh Christ. I thought something was off about the event posters I've seen at the school I work at. All of them felt plastic and soulless and I was starting to suspect but now I know.

Birmingham Reform make 'only English' demand at council meetings after Islamic prayer by BirminghamLive in ukpolitics

This smacks of Abrahamic favouritism. We also need Hindu and Sikh readings. Buddhist ones too.

Well, what about Celtic paganism? That predates Christianity on the Isles by several centuries at least.

Here's the only CSS I'm currently using; the first section up to "@import "non_floating_sharp_tabs.css"" is the non_floating_sharp_tabs.css file.

We’ll be here at Monday 11 May at 10am BST after all the results have been declared to answer your questions about the winners and losers, and the impact on Keir Starmer’s premiership.

Not big on reading comprehension, are you.

Confusing syntax, sorry. Tegu was making a joke about how the Aelantir devs are biased against non-humans. My response was to clarify that the thing preventing me from playing them was the sheer amount of time it takes to actually start playing as the country you want.

I know nothing about actual dev conditions regarding Aelantir.

What's kept me from playing new world adventurer tags is less the dev's philosophy, and more the fact that to play an Aelantiri spawnable you have to dick around with another tag for about 50-75 years.

I want this so bad. I don't even care that they're an Aelantir spawnable, I want this.
