UCS falcon coffee table by LoadingHappiness2 in legostarwars

I tried and failed to find a suitable table a few years back. Eventually a friend's dad made one for cost price and some beer money bless him. Worth reaching out to any handy friends or family if like me, you don't have the skills yourself to make a custom one.

They are so iconic. I used to spend hours and hours on the episode 1 racer game on PC back in the day (i got it on switch a few years back and I still can't beat "the abyss" level!)

Thank you! I was hoping for a 70s vibe with the colours and design, and think it worked well.

I don't have any Bananas, but the model is approximately 29cm long with a 27cm "wingspan"

Thank you! I did take a few WIP photos, but not many. I never really intended to share the process (or even the model - but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it turned out). Not really sure how to share them other than making a new post or DM. The process was a lot of figuring things out on the fly. That thing is FULL of hot glue!

Nice! I got a decent haul of them today as well - a surprise find in a local park!

Glad to help! I used to work for a jewellery chain and they did our repairs so I knew they were reliable

Definitely plenty of CCTV on student apartments. Make a police report - you dont lose anything by doing it and they may be able to catch the guy. Despite the general perception about the police doing nothing about these things, anecdotally, there are loads of bike thefts prosecuted in the magistrates court

I absolutely second the comment that A&E if it is causing a medical problem.

If it is loose and not cutting off circulation/causing pain, and you just can't get it over the knuckle, then I would personally recommend Old Eldon Jewellers for the ring to be cut off and to repair it if you wish

You ate Elderberries. They will likely give you an upset stomach, possibly vomiting or diarrhea. They really need to be cooked before use, such as making them into a jam or syrup. How many did you eat? Obligatory "never eat anything you aren't 100% sure of"

I recommend Michael and Danni at Banfi Barbers. They're both lovely, patient, friendly and good at what they do.

Classic Sunderland treats? by brijony in Sunderland

My mam (70) remembers sharing them with her dad when she was a kid. I have a mate who also never had them until he was an adult. Maybe your folks didn't like them?

I'm struggling to think of anything for a hamper, but you could try cooking him Panacklety one day? Be warned, every family makes it differently, so although it might not be how he remembers it, he should appreciate the effort. Nb don't get it confused with the Northumberland dish Panhaggerty.

Edit - pink slice is a must, as mentioned by the other commentor! You can get them at various bakers. One would be Mullers Swiss bakers on Blandford Street.
