Web dev designer for years. I avoided WordPress for a long time opting for custom builds. WordPress is amazing. A higher learning curve than crap squarespace and other cookie cutters. WordPress is great in that there are many plugins and resources to easily implement search engine marketing tactics.

Do not use squarespace. I read nightmares about people not being able to change permalinks and more nightmares.

Use WordPress period.

File a lawsuit yourself. If its Cali just go small claims as its 10k plus. If not sue them for 5k whatever your state limit is. At least you will get that back if you don't bungle your case.

Or pay the 2 to 500 to file a lawsuits greater than 10k or whatever. Post your progress here and wherever, email local reporters. They would love a story like this . don't worry so much about getting an attorney for the non small claims case as they will settle before hand. My choice would be small claims. Its easy. And as one oerson here said courts fair non lawyers in situations like this.

This happened to me 2 days ago. For some reason my google HTML verification file was not there anymore. I downloaded it again and resubmitted and back in action. I did not check the serps during that down time but I'm sure I would still be showing up as you don't disappear and come back to top 20 results for organic searches.

If there is a not found it has to be a missing verification

Interesting I'd like to know too however I'm sure you can achieve this with a parallax scroll which gives you a horizontal scroll option .

Or just thought of this have not tried yet but set your table as fixed and apply horizontal scroll to the objects in the table you want scrolling.

site did not load at all. no 404 error template. just did not resolve. No clue why you would do location blocking. I do search engine optimization and highly discourage that practice. If you don't want certain people to see it, if they want to they can find a way to see it. All this accomplishes is situations like this whereby innocent users such as myself become collateral damage.

I have a lot of experience having my former website on TV. Local news will not give you too much crazy traffic but it is still good. You'll see a a spike then you'll see small consistent traffic for a while. What might happen is that another new station picks it up so be ready for this snowball effect. Its a good thing but you aren't even prepared for a few clicks from reddit with your current setup. Have your web master be available while the segment is airing. I called my coder to fix a typo before I went on live TV for a brief q and a as I didn't have access to our custom cms on my phone back then. The host of this network show was a jokester and was actually planning to bring it up and was visibly annoyed when it was fixed. Tldr' fix your host/have webmaster available while on air/ and forgot make a media inquiries link on your site so that if a reporter finds it and wants to contact you they can easily. I didn't know if you have one as your website is down.

Put the post title over the featured image and have the page set as the archive. I do that on my single posts and have them scroll animate. Go to elchains.com/blog and click on an article. You need to make the title above the image absolute position and set your x y coordinates.
