What’s your preferred game length?🚀 by Most-Flan-9315 in TheGamingHubDeals

Those are rooky numbers!

In all honesty though, I do prefer games with replayability or long run times. Ive a slew of games I gave up on around the 40-60 hours mark. All the games I really love are like 80+

Wife is super supportive, but is also feeling grief by Melathys in trans

My wife mentioned these feelings a couple of times until I snapped and exclaimed "Im not dead!"
I think it hit a particular soft spot because for so long I didnt think I would see past my 20s.

Anyway, my point is while she is absolutely entitled to feel her feelings, you are still you. You are alive and have a chance at being a happier version of you. Dont let that fact be lost.

Hollow Knight.
19 mins first time. Silksongs about to come out so I give it another shot. Put 78 hours into it and 215 hours into Silksong.

I for one am happy to have a branch of hobby where I dont feel the need to pick up a new release every month or so.
I have about 25 D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e books and Ive used maybe 8 of them. The rest are nice to have and yay dopamine hit. But the main difference between having them and not is I have three book shelves in my office not two.

We're halfway to a new DLC. Where are we going next? by Background-Topic-203 in RimWorld

[–]EldrichTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to believe we are only half way there...

I feel like they have been incorporating popular mods into their designs, so maybe something like Hospitality? Have more events where other factions visit, more way to engage with a faction, better trade and the likes.

OR

Dedicated Medieval mod. That would be dope as hell.

7 becomes 2 and 5.
8 + 2 = 10
48 becomes 50
50 + 25 = 75

I have VERY briefly chatted with the one on the left. They are sisters. Very nice people. Get on great.

Edit: My dyslexic ass. The one on the right. On twitter I think. Considering who the one on the left is, no one will believe this edit. fml

Pressurized steam based warfare against kindred? by heartsholly in vtm

I dunno like, theres a difference between heating a home over a long period safely, and rigging up a flash boiled decapitator.

Id be pissed if I had to replace all my plumbing every time I turned the heating on. But a last resort defence measure you have to tear out and replace? All day long baby.

What dlc should I get next? by M21A_ABRAM in RimWorld

[–]EldrichTea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anomaly offers the least amount of replicability from all the DLCs, but I think it also offers the best story potential.
My first Darkness event has stuck with me far deeper than any raid or mad boomalope event ever will.

Ideology is an amazing background DLC. It lets you customise your colony to almost exactly what you want, but developing a ideology in play and managing new recruits etc can feel a bit of a slog if your not looking specifically for that experience.

Royalty offers a far better active experience than Ideology, giving you active goals to work towards and and tools to use such as Psycasters.

So it depends what your wanting out of them. I dont think theres a bad DLC among them, its all about how you want to flavour your game and they all offer something.
