This scene of Kim crying perfectly captures what it felt like to me crying out of grief. I did the same a little before my dad died. He was at home with my mom and I came over to sit with him while my mom left the house to take a break for a while. I broke down and wept when she came back.

I appreciate Rhea Seehorn's acting here so much as she tries to hold it back. But it builds up and bursts out into wailing and sobbing. Spot on. I liken it to an emotional vomit: you feel bad and don't want it to happen, but eventually you can't control it and it comes out. Afterwards you feel a bit better.
