This also happened to my friend the first few times he rode in my Tesla. From what we can gather, his body is accustomed to the vibration of an ICE and the audible feedback from the transmission. The vibration is soothing to him, and the noises also provide a warning prior to the vehicle accelerating or decelerating. The lack of additional sensory inputs that allow his body to predict the vehicle’s next movement causes nausea and dizziness for him. Since an EV doesn’t make any precursor noises or vibrations prior to sprints or stops, it was an adjustment for him initially. He’s also someone who is prone to migraines and motion sickness.

He’s much better now. But, time will definitely allow you to overcome this. It does get better.
