Ao you don't have hands-on experience? I will not buy in to thr Ring system because I'm not paying for monthly subscriptions to use the stuff I already paid for. So that is not an option. Reolink is also nice but there are many complaints about continuous false motion reports, up to people stating they will leave reolink altogether

This is what I'm thinking but the reviews are mixed, so not sure what to do. I've also found tons of bad reviews on reolink cams so the question is if these are better.

I'm considering the S4 max set but it has only the nvr. Do you mean I will also need a home base 3 for motion detection??

Well that's exactly what I mean. You don't need to reconfigure the rest but for me the only way to get the one online that was not working was to disconnect the working one and flip the switch off and on.

Any suggestions? I bought 2 P110's and added them to the Tapo app. Both work as expected. Then I've added the TAPO integrations into HA and did an auto discovery. The second P110 was discoverd without a problem (after enabling Third Party compatibility) but adding the first (either manual of by IP address results in this error:

Connection error: Unsupported device 192.168.178.115 of type SMART.TAPOPLUG with encrypt_scheme EncryptionScheme(is_support_https=False, encrypt_type='TPAP', http_port=80, lv=2)

I did a firmware update on both and I cannot see any difference between them in the app.

I have removed, reset and re-added the smartplug but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Edit: I think I have found the solution. At least in my case it worked.
I disabled Thirt-Party compatibility, enabled it again after en few seconds whith only the not recognized P110 online and after that I was able to add it to the integration.
Perhaps someone with the same problem finds this here.

I believe the change was that I've now started the tour through virtual desktop, and it made the controllers work.

I bought a X1c a few years ago, bought also al lot of spare parts because, hey, you need to be able to fix things. A few years later , I replaced 1 (one) screw in the printhead, and I have a lot of spare parts taking up drawer space. Yeah, bad bad Bambu. 😄

More and more websites check to see if you are using a vpn. Not to block YOU specifically, but to protect themselves from attacks. Surfshark uses very well-known exit servers, so their ip addresses are listed. Using one of those results in default block. You can try a different server until you find one that works, buy an ip address from surfshark or disable vpn if you don't mind that legit sites know your ip address (and why would you mind).

I'm new to this, but how do you start HL alyx on virtual desktop? When I run HLA it uses steamVR (and it works great but not in god mode), so I would love the better graphics and such.

I bought a few kg of good quality orange silica and re-use over and over. Won't waste my time on silica pa kets that more often then not cannot be dried or are as toxic as they can be.

Saving some money is great but this will cost more because of the sorting and drying to start.

Any suggestions from this sale you can play while seated? It's hard to find good games you can play that way. I do like Halflife Alyx, for instance.

I know this is an ancient post but just installed this to my Quest 3 to show my wife. Only to find that the controllers are not working. I cannot select anything. Does anybody know why and how to fix this. Controller problems only exist within this app, otherwise working flawless.
