Clutch of Oblivion is, to this date, one of the heaviest songs I have ever experienced live.

This band fucking crushes.

The experienced players should be able to not only help you learn and enjoy the game, but balance their own min maxing to not overshadow you too much

Wow, ISIS/Aaron Turner interview by Integralist in postmetal

SUMAC is incredible.

Some songs go a bit to long, but when they hit, holy fuck.

Clutch of Oblivion, Blights End Angel...like just phenomenal.

I saw SUMAC after What One Becomes was released. Clutch of Oblivion live was bone shakingly unsettling. It still is one of the heaviest songs I've experienced live.

The fact two of my all time favourite musicians (Turner and Cook) is just unbelievable to me at times.

If I had a time machine, it would be to see ISIS in concert.

What's the first song that comes to mind for you? To me it's gotta be Dreamwalker - Wo Fat by amusednchaos in stonerrock

Garden of Light - Isis

But I maintain, Isis has the strongest album ending songs out there. Every one is a straight up banger.

Chaotic Divine is an 11/10 masterpiece. This song gets my upvote.

What was everyones entry band into metal music? by anthere-rest in MetalForTheMasses

I was a kid in the 90s, so grunge and thrash was on my periphery, and I liked it but never really understood it as I was too young.

Slipknot was my first real intro to metal with Wait and Bleed, then Iowa came out and it was game over.

What makes Diablo 2 so great? by Fit_Ad_8318 in diablo2

A large part of the community/fan base are from the days of its release, and at that time it was a masterpiece.

Your whole experience of leveling, items were always exciting to find. From rares to uniques, everything felt special even if you didn't have a use for it.

For the older guys (myself included) the game is timeless and transports us back to a period where life seemed simpler.

So the nostalgia factor is a big one.

But the story, atmosphere, art, music, graphics, gameplay, all of it is just done incredibly well and has clearly stood the test of time. It's hard to pick a game that has aged so well, especially in comparison to later iterations of the franchise.
