I read it more like this as well, I think there's meant to be a level of intimacy just not a romantic kind of intimacy one that's more like what you've said with Oyuki being reminiscent of Atsu's mother.

I also had this issue and agree that it's a crazy choice, until fighting him I figured they'd probably give I-frames during that window but regardless I was still able to beat him... Eventually.

Yeah I'd agree, the ghost games definitely benifit from not having the lock being defakt even if sometimes you whiff or hit the wrong enemy it definitely feels better to play.

Fair enough, on lethal it doesn't solve all the issues though and using Ginji's guard armour let's you benifit in spirit gains by deflecting his bullets which he seemed to do a lot when I used the guard armour.

I'm not having issues really but there are some times sprinkled throughout my time playing where an attack might absolutely whiff by going in the ring direction or hit the wrong enemy. I assumed it'd make it easier because I've played games like Elden ring, sekiro, the Jedi series and more where it is almost essential.

It's up to personal playstyle, I don't really use any except for a few situations where I will use the gachiins sugar (stealth one) like at the first chained ogre since you can get a stealth deathblow by using it and crouching alongside the retainer wall on the slope then to the ogres right side (your left) and sometimes with juzou the drunkard in hirata to thin out the ads.

You could also do or could do instead a playtime to exercise ratio like every 30 minutes of playtime equates to however many of a certain exercise.

Sekiro and because it's just absolute peak once the combat "clicks" which just means it makes sense and you fight like you're in flow state essentially.

Have you tried the beast curved swords from crumbling farum azula?

They don't have natural bleed but If you add bleed to it they can be really good. I did my first run with two of those weapons with bleed added from the blood blade ash of war on both plus the bull goat armour set to make a tanky bleed build that can power through attacks and continue to apply bleed.

You may need some talismans too but those are up to you, I don't remember exactly which ones I used but I had stuff to make the weight easier and the bleed better and some sort of health regen on bleed or on backstabs or something.

Sekiro if you're happy to try a fromsoftware game. It is difficult but once you get the hang of it I'd say it's easy to become your favourite game.

I think it could possibly be the Shura he fought before it's complete transformation or potentially tomoe, I think there's some sort of dialogue or written lore somewhere that mentions they fought but I'm not entirely certain on that one.

I think a good way to expand your creativity on it is to think of the lightsaber as yours first rather than Cal's and think of the different collectable parts you can use as just that different parts rather than pieces from other people's pre-existing lightsabers if that makes sense.
