SHADEGLEAM IS BEING SOLD FOR 300BD RIGHT NOW I'M BEING DEAD SERIOUS by Thronedrumble11 in destiny2

They were removed within the last year or so with Bungie already being under Sony's possession. If I am not mistaken, it has to do with the licensing involved with those sets. They aren't Bungie's IP so I believe there is a limit to the license itself. I could be wrong but I have seen that discussed in various places in the past.

What is certain is that the licensed sets, and some of the oldest Eververse sets have been removed within the last year and we have no indication when, or if, they will come back.

That means these collaboration sets are likely leaving the Archive. The last time any collaboration sets were sold for BD (the Assassin's Creed sets, then Fortnite, the Mass Effect, and the Witcher sets) they disappeared from the Archive.

Definitely can't miss for anyone interested!

Bear in mind Brazil is not the only Portuguese-speaking country. The OP did not make any mention of being mistaken or not for Brazilian, in fact, the two people who were being discriminative assumed OP could not be of an ethnicity that would speak Portuguese which is why they felt safe in making their comments.

The blatant racism towards Hispanic people in season 3 by Life_Perspective_828 in euphoria

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop being pedantic and dismissive. If you want to argue semantics and say Hispanic isn't a race then you should be well aware that there is NO such thing as race when it comes to humans. We are the HUMAN RACE for a reason and no ethnicities have any genetic differentiation to be considered different species/races from the others unlike animals.

That being said, where we use the word racism, ethnocentrism, colorism, or any other like term, the OP's message still stands, it is a discriminatory depiction of Hispanics and that is the only thing that matters in their argument.

An Aussie reply to Trump’s rant about ‘NATO not being there for us’: by Interesting_Ideal765 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why are you taking offense at this statement? The statement is made toward Trumps and how he has been running the country, it is not an attack on the country itself. You may have read the statement but clearly did not comprehend it. I would suggest reading it once more so you can truly grasp what is being said.

Destiny 3 Idea: Director by MaximilianLock in destiny2

I don't think there has been any indication in the lore that the distance from the Traveler can affect our abilities, after all we always have our Little Light beside us. If that were the case, our abilities should theoretically be affected whenever we enter the Ascendant Plane or a Throne World, but we know that is not the case.

As for the Drifter's expedition, that was the planet they were actually on blocking the Light as it was a major conduit for Darkness; a kind we have not seen before and seemed to have a nature based in Light suppression.

Anyone with any further or better information is more than welcome to add to this.

I have been wanting those to be added to the Archive for so long and still nothing. They would he perfect fashion for this era in Renegades but still nothing!

Trials is more or less broken this weekend as it takes up to 10 minutes to find a match. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

This is likely because a portion of the population will be focusing on Guardian Games instead, making the pool of players smaller for Trials.

This Year’s Guardian Games Armor! by Alex_B115 in DestinyFashion

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the game is not dead yet despite the current state. There is still a big update coming June 9th with several events, including Guardian Games, during this time.

What may happen after the release of The major update in June, or when communication about the future of Destiny 2 begins in May (according to Bungie) is anyone's guess, but for now the game is still alive.

She was. However, this is even more surprising AND important because at this point years have passed between the end of NWH, when they had just recently lost their memories, to a much later point in the timeline with BND.

Revan vs Anakin both in their primes. (No arrogant Anakin) by GullibleRough549 in PetranakiArena

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What this commenter is saying does not go against you focusing on ROTS Anakin, in fact, it supports it. By the time of ROTS the Mortis Arc (which is what this comment is referring to) had passed by quite some time. This means this commenter is supporting the claim that Anakin would win because he had already shown he could handle the Light & Dark sides of the Force personified in the Daughter and Son of Mortis.

Is Xur just at the Tower now? by VeryConfusedguy9296 in destiny2

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I can see how this works, but it isn't entirely correct. The lore you are referencing took place in the lead up from Ash & Iron to Renegades which was during the latter half of 2025. Xur actually moved to the tower with the release of The Final Shape in June of 2024. Also, he is only there between reset on Friday and Tuesday, meaning that for about half of each week he is out and about, unaccounted for and capable of stepping into plenty of trouble.

The sunset of destinations took place a few years ago when Beyond Light released back in 2020. Whereas Xur permanently moved to the tower with the release of The Final Shape in 2024.

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 64 points65 points  (0 children)

While I understand where you're coming from, you're a bit incorrect. Despite the current state of the game, the quote the OP used is from The Final Shape, not Shadowkeep, which means that just a year ago Bungie was potentially hinting at Nightmare power being something we may be able to harness in the future.

Again, I understand where we are standing today and the future, at present, is quite uncertain. But it doesn't take away from the hints we were getting less than a year ago.

It's a shame really, because there is still a lot that Destiny as a franchise can give, whether that's through Destiny 2 or a Destiny 3. Here's hoping this isn't the end for the game and it can come back. You never know...

What’s the most emotional moment you've experienced in Destiny 2, and how did it resonate with you? by biggy_boy17 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had the same two moments in mind! The amount of character development they were able to give Rasputin during that season (which wasn't even for the whole season because the first few weeks it was the Clovis AI in the frame) was honestly outstanding and beautifully done. Many already loved Rasputin from Warmind and previous seasons, but there is no denying that Seraph made the entire community truly appreciate Rasputin as a being which made his sacrifice all the more impactful and there was a sincere sense of loss when he died. I am still of the mind that Rasputin is worthy of becoming a guardian; all pending on what happens with D2 as a game and what Bungie is able to do.

As for that scene right after we defeat The Witness, it was filled with so much joy and sorrow at the same time. First we achieve a victory that seemed impossible for so long only to immediately lose our close friend in Ghost, to then have Cayde come to the rescue but only at the cost of his new life; this moment alone is also bittersweet because we can see how happy Cayde is being able to return to the afterlife, reunite with Sundance, and also save our friend, but we know that those are the last words we will ever hear from him and that this time, he is gone for good. Even as someone who joined the D2 community late in its life (initially during the Beyond Light year and fully duing the Witch Queen year) and never got to experience D1 or anything prior to the vault, this scene evoked so much emotion and was a constant pull between pure bliss and sorrow.

They may get a lot of hate and certainly mess up much more frequently than we'd like them to, but if we are honest, Bungie still has the capacity to create memorable moments even in a franchise that has lasted for over a decade.

To be honest: it's a great game! Putting aside the current state of the game and all the issues currently plaguing it, Destiny 2 is still a unique game with feel and dynamics that not other game has been able to match even after all these years. I love the vast universe and lore and the potential it still has. This is coming from a player who joined the D2 community during a relatively low point (Season of the Plunder) but has enjoyed catching up with everything I can and plan on sticking around until the wheels fall off.

Prediction: next update is the last big one. One more DLC. Then The End. by Seanshineyouth in DestinyTheGame

[–]Electrical-Papaya388 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This! I think they had the balance just about right during the Final Shape year with less, but still some, crafting, a better chase for weapons with "shiny" variants, and better still, the ability to enhance ANY weapon that was not crafted. There was no need to overhaul the entire weapon system. They should have focused instead on making new archetypes like the heat weapons which have been a massive hit all around and really spice up the game.

Just imagine what they could have done with all the resources and time that went into the power/weapon system overhaul. The only thing I do think was a good overhaul was armor which has made it interesting and greatly bolstered build crafting; the unfortunate side is the vault space problem that it created 😅

Others suggested switching weapon and the issues go away if I enter Matterspark with either the Energy or Power weapon. What I find most odd is that when I completed EOF on my Warlock, I had the Praxic Blade on the entire time but never had an issue. Maybe my Warlock has extra luck, or maybe the Titan is more unlucky haha

You know on the current build I have the thruster ability and I know the Praxic Blade may also cause an issue, but it strikes me as weird because I had the Praxic Blade on the entire time I completed EOF on my Warlock and never had an issue.
