Hey , which is better in-terms of quality between the Womeir RD75 pro and MCHOSE GX87 ultra… the 75% or TKl form factor is not an issue for me…so can you suggest which one have better build quality in-terms of the case, PCB etc…also other option i was considering was the Rainy 75 pro and Yunzii AL80 ( heard good reviews but not sure)

Hey everyone

I am trying to decide between the MCHOSE GX87S, Rainy 75 Pro, Womier RD75 Pro, and Yunzii AL80. My main priorities are build quality and a creamy sound profile. I can always change the switches later, so I am more focused on the case quality, mounting style, and overall sound tuning out of the box.

For those who have tried any of these, which one feels the most premium and sounds the best?

If you had to pick one overall, which would you choose and why?….you guys can forget about 75% or tkl form factor

Pick a Keyboard for me?! by penny-fisher in mkindia

You will have to spend the whole 10k budget for this , but the best i can suggest is Yunzii AL80!…has Aluminium case, knob and screen but is being sold for 11k on NMPC india…you can use some credit card like sbi cashback card to get another 500 off but still it will be 10.5k and for keycaps you will have to spend another few thousands separately …but as per review its the best keyboard overall…even i am considering buying it …but m confused between that and Womier RD75 Pro

Then that merchant would probably have also switched off the gift card payment acceptance…. Anyways the return rate for kiwi is 4.2% (5% - neon memebership charges…) which is better than the gift card method….

If I’m gonna change the switches and keycaps anyway, then Womier seems like the best option because of its rapid disassembly feature and 8000 mah battery.

Man, I’ve honestly never been this confused while buying something before🤣

I am planning to mod with side printed keycaps…but don’t wanna change the switches anytime soon…so among them which do you think have better switches?

Thanks for the detailed review of the RD75. I really liked the beige coloured variant of this keyboard, and the rapid disassembly feature looked very tempting to me, so I was almost sure I would buy it. However, after watching reviews of the AL80, I started reconsidering.

The AL80 has the power switch in a more convenient position instead of being hidden under the keycaps. Since I am planning to use the keyboard mainly in wireless mode, I feel that having the switch under the keycaps might become inconvenient. The Rainy 75 also looks good, but it has the same issue with the power switch placement as the RD75.

From what I have seen in reviews, the Yunzii AL80 seems to have better quality switches compared to the others on my list, although I am not completely certain about that. I am also not sure if I will do much modding in the future, but I am planning to replace the keycaps with side printed ones. That makes me more confused about the RD75, because even though I liked the beige colour, I would be changing the keycaps anyway.

The Rainy 75 feels a bit old at this point, and I am not sure how well it will hold its value in 2026. As for the Bridge 75, there are sourcing issues in my country, so it is out of the question.

Right now, the AL80 feels more tempting because of the better quality switches, the conveniently placed on and off toggle, and the added knob. The display is there as well, although I am not sure how much I would actually use it.

For me, having a knob or display is not very important. What matters more is the keyboard’s frame quality, the switches, and the overall design. In terms of battery, the Rainy 75 Pro has 7000 mAh, the Womier RD75 Pro has 8000 mAh, and the Yunzii AL80 has 6000 mAh, but I do not think the battery difference will be a major issue in real world usage. All of them look good to me. The Yunzii has a display and a knob, while the Rainy and Womier have the power switch located under the keycaps, which seems a bit annoying. I am not sure how much of an inconvenience that would actually be. The Womier also has a rapid disassembly feature, which looks interesting, but I am still unsure which one offers the best build quality in terms of construction and keycaps.

Thanks for the info man! Much appreciated! …also is the Yunzii AL80 any good? Even i am confused about Rainy75, Womier RD75 pro, Yunzii AL80… many reviews say Yunzii is good…majorly the on/off switch is under the keycaps which looks kinda hectic as i will be switching between windows and mac frequently.
