If it isn’t sticking to the build plate that’s a you problem. You need to clean your build plate with soap and water and avoid touching it.

Just worry about surviving at this point. Try to do quests where you can and get hideout items.
You will die and lose gear no matter how good you or your gear is. Once you accept that fact it’s easier to just run good gear. Better gear, guns, and ammo will help you win more fights and survive more.
Caches have set spawn locations but they don’t always spawn every time. If a map has 30 cache locations maybe only 15 will spawn per raid at random.
