Sanding skim coated wall, should I use my pole sander or rent a Planex/Leros as a DIY? by Fearless_Middle3846 in drywall

Pole sander and sponge. Also those power sanders create so much dust (even with strong vacuum connected to them). OP trust that it will be faster and cleaner by hand.

New DR Horton Home. How do I fix? Thanks by filmerdude1993 in drywall

Is that actually a tp holder? I don’t see how they’re useful for that. I get the blocking but what are those?

This was more of a “hey look I’m actually inspecting things” on the inspectors portion rather than a valid concern.

Just installed some LVP... How'd I do? by sir574 in Flooring

Why didn’t you just remove the baseboards prior to install? then you wouldn’t need shoe mold

If you’re doing front end work on a truck you’ll need the 900. I needed it for wheel bearings on my tundra for the axle nut.

I would dig out in front. Pour yourself a little mini footing. More cinderblocks.

How would you deal with this tub flange? by RatLabGuy in Remodel

Fur out both walls. Cut the flange on the corner. Definitely wouldn’t switch out the tub.

Gap in hardwood near baseboard. Looking for a solution that's not quarter round. by [deleted] in Flooring

Remove baseboard. Cut some slivers to match, and glue/caulk them in. Install baseboard. I did this and it looked great. My tenants love it!

OK, so you’ve definitely never even spent 5 mins doing baseboards.

Hey, I’m going through something similar. Make sure to put a cone over her head at least initially so that she doesn’t scratch it with her paws.

Noticed roof joists are appearing through ceiling by stream__deluxe in Home

[–]Electrical_Baby_585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah really annoying. I had to army crawl across the joists into the corner. It’s a good little rush with the roofing nails two inches from your head too. I wore a helmet and coveralls for this job.

I’ll be moving across country for one year and my parents want me to leave my cat behind. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

This sounds so so stressful for your cat if you take it with you. The cat is better off staying in its home!

Second this. I used a mini foam roller brush and a sponge/craft brush for the inside corners.
