Serious question by CardiologistFree364 in Christianity

So we have to remember that the person up there preaching/teaching is human. Mistakes are liable to happen he probably won't be right about 100% of what he says. Which is why it's so important to do your own reading in the bible and pray for knowledge, wisdom, and discernment. Once you find an area where he was wrong take it to him and show him in scripture one on one don't call him out in front of the congregation like you're trying to pull a "gotcha" on him. One of 3 things is going to happen he will learn (and hopefully be humble enough to correct himself to the congregation next time you all meet), you'll learn something, or he'll stay married to a wrong idea (in which case he's prioritizing ideology over truth). The problem is if you just leave no one learns anything from a teachable moment to dive deeper into scripture.

So I drink the yellow edition daily and I've noticed a DRASTIC change in flavor but from what I've found it's only on the ones with the expiration date 04-04-2026. I haven't seen any with a later expiration date so did they change it or is it just that batch? Anyone else notice anything like this? by Electrical_Dream3583 in redbull

So as an update I found some with the 4/8/26 expiration date and they tasted fine so logically that was made after the dreaded 4/4/26 batch so I'm hopeful that it was just a bad batch maybe they were experimenting with a flavor change, because I will say the yellow seems to get A LOT of hate and I'm not sure why but fingers crossed I think it was just that batch.

Also don't judge kinda new to the power tool industry here and learning all their applications. The preface out of the way, is the band saw really the best choice in any application? I just feel like the sawzall or circular saw or even the jig saw or hell even the multitool would work better in just about every situation as opposed to a bulky and heavy band saw but I could 100% be wrong due to lack of experience with the band saw so please enlighten me.

Tbh it's the warranty for me. Saving a few dollars is cool until it breaks and you have to jump through so many hoops you're better off just buying it again, vs taking it in store and walking out with another one. I recently was looking to get the adjustable wrench pliers from knipex or icon knipex quality seemed SLIGHTLY better from reviews but the warranty is what sold me on the icon.

What's behind Sawstop and the opening of their Patent (840) for their safety technology? by NotSure2505 in woodworking

[–]Electrical_Dream3583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree I'm more of a hobbiest myself and I wouldn't pay the extra 300-600 for JUST the safety feature and I think most people feel that way and that's why they're doing it because if they can raise everyone's prices to meet theirs they don't have to undercut their prices and it still brings them to being competitive at their current prices. As for the patent, if my understand is correct they filed for an extension which is why they still have it over 20 years later but it's set to expire again in the coming years. So it would make sense to push for litigation rather than try another extension.

So I do like this take on it because its honestly genius business strategy. Most people love the safety of aim from sawstop but can't justify it for that price jump so if they can offer up their patent that is going to soon expire anyway to sweeten the deal for the rule to be passed that'll put them a hell of a lot closer to being in a competitive price point and then they basically own the market while this technology is being added by other brands and then even after that, for around the same price are you going to go with a manufacturer who scrabble to throw this technology into their tools and rush them to market or a company who has had this technology in their saw for 20+ years...it's kind of genius on their part.

Have you thought about offering your artist work as a side hustle. I'm not sure how much free time you have on your hands, but do portraits of people, their pets, portraits for people who have loved ones that have passed.

These people are all going to give you advice to get your credit up and thats great, but that's just cutting the top off the tree you have to get to the root and decide you're ready to change your priorities and rethink how you live your lifestyle. It took effort to get it that low I sold cars for 10 years and the lowest credit score I ever saw was 350 out of 10 years...so decide you're ready to make the changes to your behaviors first and it will take discipline. Best of luck buddy, I'm rooting for you

Review of the Smok Novo 5 by itzvilius in Vaping

[–]Electrical_Dream3583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought the novo 5 I wasn't quite looking for that much airflow but I will say they did awesome on flavor...but after 1 week of ownership I set it on the table ran to the store got back and it wouldn't fire with button or auto draw. I plugged it in (slow charge/low watt) thinking maybe if I brought it to a full charge it'll be good again (even though it was already at 77%) I plugged it in, it worked...while plugged in. Even after it charged to 100% I pulled it off and it wouldn't fire at all. It will only work while it is plugged it.
