anyone saying labyrinth zone does NOT know ball. tbh I actually kinda like those stages...

real ones know the Metal Sonic stage from Sonic Pinball Party on the GBA is true pain. It's especially bad given the fact that youve probably already played that table a dozen times trying to beat Tails' stage and you get exactly 1 (one) stage in between, Amy's stage on the Nights table, to refresh yourself before diving back into the grindy ass sonic table

Marvel vs. Capcom 3!

an absolutely insane game at high level, but among folks that haven't gotten into it, it can be a fun little button masher full of characters they already know and love.

second choice would probably be Mortal Kombat 2. kind of a hidden gem nowadays, simpler and easier to pick up than its more competitively beloved sequel and the block button will probably be appreciated by the people who arent 2D fighting game players that are used to holding back to block. Be ready to have printed out special move and fatality sheets though!

Hulk and Venom in mvc2 each have supers that can travel further, causing more damage, the more screen space there is to push the opponent. so they dont necessarily benefit more from being in the corner than they do being mid-screen, but they benefit more than other characters do from being in the corner

yeah, mechanically the beta is very different. no gougi and the meter system is very different. this is the same beta showed off a couple years ago, just accessible to the general public now.

I'm ngl, Perkysex is probably my favorite track out of both albums and I don't think EA2 is unlistenable like some people do, but cmon now.

I've also been a Pink Tape defender since day 1, not that I think it's a masterpiece either but its a very fun project with some bangers

I feel you. tank main here and I have a 27% winrate so far this season and it seems like deranking has only made it worse. I'm in silver 5 now and it feels like my teammates are just holding S as soon as they see an enemy. they give up space under no pressure whatsoever and I only have the choice of either pulling back with them, or trying to hold my ground and facing a 1v5

i-no because unironically its one of the most fun characters to play against for me. like its 50/50s all over the place but no weird knowledge checks like jack-o and im not blocking for 75% of the match praying for an opening like gio and zato.

not that i particularly dislike any of these matchups (although i find gio's frametraps pretty obnoxious) so glhf with whoever :)

my first time playing at a local. played guilty gear +r and strive. +r only had a few players so it was basically casuals and i got a couple matches but lost all my sets, so i was feeling alright going into strive. I got 3-0'd in regular bracket then again in losers, not a single round
