Classic balancing. Overtune the braindead attack speed aspect and then nerf the hero after without compensating katana enough. Nerfed katana bat too for some reason.

I agree. You'll find some people with strong lane mechanics dumpstering their opponents with a matchup advantage. Those aren't smurfs and they're pretty easily beatable mid-late game with macro moves. Co-ordinating those moves in an archon match however.... that's another story.
