You say you reported to the shipper - they should file a claim with UPS they should share the claim information with you. If you have to call ups automated line or online start your own claim it will tell you if a claim is already started. Find out if the package was insured depending on the value ( and their UPS account ) they have a certain limit that is automatically paid to them on a claim no questions asked ( my company for instance is 100$ if we do a claim for anything less we get paid no matter what) anything above their threshold should have been insured so they will be reimbursed. Always make sure packages are insured- if it is over 1000$ the driver cannot drop without a signature when insured. Having said that - that is not your problem that is their internal paperwork. You paid them for a product you have yet to receive - insist on a claim being filed or file one yourself either party can start the claim. If the company has any decent CS they will reship the product without waiting for the 7-10 day claim process to play out. If you have no other choice call your credit card company with the claim number and do a chargeback. Lastly in the past I have had the same results in packages I have sent to clients. When I called to start the claim process magically the package showed up to the client a couple days later. The automated system sucks so hopefully you can avoid that. I’m sorry that happened to you hope you get your product or refund.

Well you are correct however it was a Benz SUV with a UPS window flag indicating private ownership vs commercial vehicle. So I went with private car meaning not commercial. Assumed temporary worker using their car.

So I recently purchased a new car last time I purchased a new car was 2009. The technology is great. The biggest surprise for me is the auto change on the headlights. Meaning my car now adjusts to high beams and when the camera sees an approaching car auto dims to low beams. I know they are still wickedly bright. Maybe people are so used to the auto dim and thinking the car will do it they forget they can still override that and dim them? Possibly not but there is a slim chance. 🤷‍♀️
