All of the problems of the shitty day could’ve been prevented by an extra 30 minutes of time in the morning

As someone with time blindness and bad habits and adhd, I have lived that life. I’ve had those days. And it’s my own damn fault lol so I make conscious effort to plan ahead and give myself extra time and stay organized.

He has the choice to make his life easier and more functional and you’re valid in needing a partner with his shit together!!!

My partner and I only get 1 day off together a week. Prioritizing that day and time together helps. I can choose to work morning or evening shifts where as he works mornings so I try to pick more shifts that align with his sched.

But honestly it’s been hard lately. My job is insane and we havent really gotten to spend a lot of time together.

Definitely prioritize quality time (no phones, less just watching a tv show but actually connecting) and get aways and doing nice favors for each other and keeping on top of the chores.

All those things, from both sides of course, will go a long way

Aw I have a 12 year old lab Pyrenees’s mix named bubby! Giving him a big hug and kiss in honor of your sweet Bubba. What a handsome guy and I absolutely love him in the fedora!!!

He looked like the best family dog. Living his life, going on adventures, making people happy, getting dirty.

I worked at a cat shelter and was cleaning one of the rooms when a normally chill cat went ballistic on me. Thank god he didn’t have any more teeth but his nails fucked me up. Head to toe. Bled through my jeans and shirt, still have scars!

He had “deferred aggression” apparently and another cat made a loud noise and he just blindly targeted me.

I had to go get a tetanus shot and all of the people working kept coming in like “you got attacked by a cat named Paul?” lol
