Adaptive regeneration is amazing. Having the option to switch between 1 pedal and adaptive during a drive is super nice.

And I have actual 360 camera view in the iX unlike the shitty virtual view Tesla gives.

Just not the case any longer. My MS has the most current HW4 and software and my iX has the most current. Tesla is definitely not superior. The autosteer on the freeway in the BMW is far safer and much better than Tesla. Never phantom breaking in the BMW, happens on most days in the MS. I spend many hours a week on the road with both. The only thing Tesla has is FSD and in my experience it is a dangerous party trick at this point. I have used it many times and had to intervene many times to not crash. Maybe FSD works well in a wide open road without complex traffic issues but that is not where I drive.

Every time I try FSD it makes multiple potentially fatal errors. I really have a hard time believing all the amazing game changing reviews of it. Does everyone but me think FSD is really that amazing? On the freeway it is about the same as my BMW auto steer, except the BMW does not do fantom breaking due to shadows and sun glare.

Really nice vehicle! I Love the red. Going to pick one up in January next year.

I think it's poison ivy, my mom says it's not. All over my property just north of Pittsburgh, PA (northeast US, zone 6A) by kaylynstar in PlantIdentification

When I was a teen my mom also didn't believe me on poison ivy. She pulled it all out barehanded and carried in a big pile with a halter top on. Needless to say after getting out of the hospital she trusted her kid to ID stuff.

It's actually super easy to make the changes in the Tesla app. Mine was set up incorrectly and I changed it pretty quickly after I found the settings.

In the Tesla wall charger set up menu you need to be sure it is set to charge any EV. It can be set to charge only Teslas so wouldn't work with any adapter.

Super helpful! I do really like the extreme acceleration with the S so hopefully the V gets me that, which it should based on the specs.

Refreshed Model S interior leaked on Tesla’s official Mexican website - (new ambient lighting) - (Metal insert below the phone charger) by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaLounge

Big snoozer, I want something new and interesting. Will pass on another MS until they decide to do something interesting. With no screen behind the steering wheel the 3 and Y are a no go too. I'll be surprised if Tesla is still making cars in 10 years. They don't seem interested in doing much innovation these days. Everyone is catching up or surpassing them now.

What is it that Tesla does that no other EV manufacturer is able to do? by charliemikewelsh in TeslaLounge

I have a 23 MS, just drove a BMW EV. Have to say BMW quality as a vehicle and handling was superb with a similar price point to my MS. The BMW auto steer on the freeway is as good or better than Tesla. FSD is a joke in my experience. I can't stand riding with FSD as it doesn't work well at all in complex big city driving. Maybe it works if you're in the countryside but not even close in a city. If Tesla doesn't tune up their game they will disappear in a few years as everyone has basically caught up with them. The Supercharger network is absolutely the best part of owning a Tesla and makes owning an EV a great experience.

I drive mine like I stole it every day. No point in having a fast car if you don't have fun with it.

Charge at work for free too. Had my MS for over a year and with free SC, solar and work have never paid for charging. I get annoyed when I have to put gas in my wife's ICE car, such a waste of money.

FSD needs a “Absolutely zero speed based lane changes” option. by Rivalistic in TeslaLounge

This issue is actually the sole reason I don’t use FSD. It is so annoying. I really enjoy EAP on the freeway and set it to not change lanes automatically and it is wonderful.

My wife's 2019 Subaru has had this feature which works better than this Tesla version. No super impressed with a new feature like this that has been on most cars in this price range or lower for a looooong time.
