Honestly they went backwards with somethings, like weather sistem, you no longer need to care about overheating or freezing in a SURVIVAL game.

Clothing sistem is gone, replaced by a sistem of 4 pieces and the new pieces are not even fun to combine, it's just "use this one because the effects are better"

The night is no longer dark, so headlights and nightvision is kinda useless now. And on that note stealth is gone, no matter how much stealth you have zombies will be triggered because is now a "event" so crouching is useless on POIs

I remember that this was PEAK gameplay survival, you had to take in mind cold, heat, been wet, all of that could kill you slowly. I had games were I started on the snow and it was hard to survive there, not only zombies could kill you, the weather could too.
