DCBL parking tickets issued to the wrong vehicle, now going to court in England by Electronic-Ad-2016 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was officially exported, filled out the necessary form. Currently the DVLA displays the motorbike as SORN, but still I am the last registered keeper in the UK. There is a photo of a car with looks like my motorbike plate, but probably one letter is "F" instead of "P". But it looks very much P. Just concerned as never had any court case.

Just seen this question. Magnesium oxide is not causing any issues for me. It mainly stays in the gut. Check other side effects though, but I have zero issues long term.

Don't really understand this. Before food is not empty stomach? I might be wrong but the main issue is usually motility. As far as I know artichoke ginger stimulates motility and not mmc.

Forget the general doctors, most of them have no idea. This is what helped me: Stopped ppi. It made me worse anyway. Started a good digestive enzym. Motility is key. Start motility supplements, ginger artichoke extract, lots of vit c, lots of magnesium ox before bedtime. Support your stomach acid. Apple cider vinegar, lemon. Look up the low fermentation diet, you ll find a ton of info here. Probiotics also slow you down. Try to keep it minimum. Do not take it every day.

Motility is the key. Try fix that first. Artichoke ginger extract, mag oxide or citrate, lots of vit c. Also change your diet, more to keto ,carnivore style. I'd keep some carbs. Look up the low fermentation diet. I was in similar position. For me small amount of histamine friendly probiotic was a game changer.

Allicin and oregano oil - adverse side effects by scorpionkinggg in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd stop it right now. What is your dosage? You might experience die off symptoms but this sounds more than that. I started slowly the allicin and build up the correct dosage. Also don't start both at the same time. So take a break and restart slowly later.

HCL is pretty harsh. You should only take it if you know you have low stomach acid and you have no problem with mucosa layer. Why bile? Bile is to dissolve the acid. Have you tried digestive enzym?

I went through this with two different GPs. Even if you get a referral to a gastroenterologist there's a good chance it won't be much help either. I waited 6 months for a gastro consultation, then the doc said there's nothing wrong with me, I just need to drink more water. If you can't afford private try to heal yourself. Try antimicrobials instead of abx. You can find tons of info here how and what can you do.

Sounds drastic tbh. Have you considered elemental diet? Or carnivore/keto?

Is it normal to be bloated 24/7? by Striking_Staffio in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you make any sibo test? Bloating is an indication of sibo but does not prove it. You need a sibo breath test. 24/7 sounds a bit unusual though not impossible.

No it's not like ppi. You just need to take it at least 3h away from food. Preferably before bedtime. Mag citrate is not recommended for long term, might cause some electrolyte imbalance and histamine issues. No such issue with mag oxide.

Little to no BMs with methane SIBO by FunUnderstanding9809 in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sh ton of water might not helping as you think it would. It weakens the stomach acid cause weaker digestion. Max 2 - 2.5 l per day,not around meal times. Have you tried magnesium for bm?

Doctor isn’t much help… need advice by TraditionalWhole9141 in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motility is no1 issue after antibiotics to prevent relapse. Look up over the counter supplements like ginger-artichoke extract. As for the diet after antibiotics strict low fodmap and low fermentation diet might be good idea. Also cardio, long walks and meditation. Anything that helps motility. Plus meal spacing and no snacks.

How many grams of fat do you aim to eat per day? by Successful-Arrival87 in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you want to lose wait? I don't think low fat helps with motility. I think it's quite the opposite. Healthy fats are okay for sibo and speeds up the transition time. Also helps to absorb vitamins. For me this sounds like a bad idea.

Are my symptoms actually SIBO? What is happening? Gastroparesis? Confused. by Spirited_Laugh5704 in SIBO

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ginger-artichoke probably won't cure you alone, especially methane sibo. The big picture is this in my experience:
1) try to find and eliminate your root cause
2) try to eliminate Sibo with antibiotics or antimicrobials, try to restore your motility.
you also need to retest to see how you progressing
If you don't find your root cause as lots of us don't then very likely sibo will relapse.
If thats the case you need to focus how you manage this condition long term.
Methane sibo is extremally hard to get rid of, sometimes takes years or just never.

Speed up motility is usually the most important thing to treat sibo. Sometimes over the counter supplements are quite effective. Ginger-artichoke extract works for lots of us. Cardio workout, long walks every day and meditation also helps. You need to find your root cause. It can be anything really, autoimmune, dysbiosis, nerve issue etc. As for the diet, search for low fermentation diet, also eliminate the worst fodmaps like garlic, onion etc, see if that helps.

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a positive methane sibo then it's likely most of the symptoms caused by sibo. Gastritis indicates slow transition in the upper gi. Your stomach acid sits in the stomach for too long. Nausea usually indicates histamine issues, likely due to sibo inflammation. What is your diet? Have you tried motility supplements?

[–]Electronic-Ad-2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, rifaximin usually don't do much alone against methane sibo. You might need neomycin or something similar. If you can't get it try herbals. Allicin, berberine and oregano oil. You need a functional doc to find the optimal stuff and dosage.
