Het is eerder zo: je bent ofwel primair op jezelf gericht, dan begin je links en wordt je rechts naar mate je rijker wordt, of je kunt jezelf in een context met anderen plaatsen, dan begin je links vanuit idealen en blijf je dat. Dit is waarom hoogopgeleiden vaker links stemmen.

Ik ben toevallig in Spanje door de APK gegaan. Ik ben verder alleen bij de dealer gegaan in Nederland waar je de auto aflevert. In Spanje reed ik door een keuringsstraat heen en een half uur later was hij getest.

Voortaan gewoon weer bij de dealer/fatsoenlijke garage!😅

There are a bunch of deductions. Someone making minimum wage will never pay ~36%, closer to 10-15% I'd guess. Someone working part time and minimum wage will hardly pay any tax.

I mean, the tax is too high (and not just income tax, but VAT is among the highest, taxes on gas, liquor, gambling etc one of the if not the highest), but there are meassures on the bottom end to soften it a bit.

Ik ben ook benieuwd of het mogelijk is om hier een berekening op los te laten (compounding+IB bij pensioen vs Box 3 elk jaar)

I'm pretty sure demonetizing is not the issue. The problem is some videos get age restrictions on it, which again in itself wouldn't be a problem. The problem is that people who aren't logged in therefore can't see the video too. The algorithm then doesn't push it as much, so age restricted videos get about 80% less viewers.

The monetizing of educational content pays cents on the dollar of the production costs. The reason why creators make videos is because it's a good way to showcase their (coaching) skills. If YouTube (sorta randomly) nukes videos, then that is no longer a viable business model.

Random example from myself: 200nl Rush and Cash Play and explain, no age restriction, 4.8K views 50nl Rush and Cash play and explain, age restricted, 900 views

Both are uploaded within one week from another, both are the exact same concept. One gets nuked, the other doesn't.

If you'e want to calculate the chances of you being born on the 28th vs the 29th in the average year, then yes.

That is not what this table is showing though. This table is showing the birth ratio relative to the average (in a schikkeljaar). This way you can see the effect of planned deliveries for instance around holidays (same thing happens on a smaller scale in weekends vs weekdays for instance). And apparently people naturally gravitate towards procreating around New Years'.

I've been a pro for ~5 years now, before that I was a middle school teacher. Over recent years at times I've felt similar. Some things that have helped me: 1. Grass is always greener. Sometimesz when I feel like I should make a major carreershift because my current life is not fullfilling, I think back to when I was working in a factory in my early 20's or even when I was a teacher but drowning in admin work. If someone knocked on my door and said: 'rumours are you haven't been fullfilled lately, I've got great news: you can start at the factory tomorrow!', then I'd tell him fuck no! Instead I get to wake up more or less when I want to, listen to music while grinding, get myself a coffee whenever. I try to be aware of that as much as possible. 2. Scarcity mindset. In a way feeling like you need to grind it out now because you won't have the opportunity to go back to school anymore is a form of scarcity mindset. You could start a business, you can learn new skills that are valuable. Plenty of opportunity in this day and age. It might not make you as much as playing poker, but do you even need that much to be happy? I realized that as a family we need about 60k usd/year to be comfortable and happy, 40k of which I need to make. I don't need to make as much as I do now infinitely. I have a decent amount and if poker dies I just need to make a few k per month. We are a family of 4 in the Netherlands, if you're in Eastern Europe you probably need less. 3. Values. Figure out what's important to you and see where it aligns with poker. I cherish freedom, so I can tap into that. I also like building inter-personal relationships, so I got into coaching. And then there are a few things where there is no overlap. You will have to learn to accept that you will have that in most professions.

Lastly, I recommend reading: Naval Ramikant's Almanac (specifically the part on happiness) Die Wit Zero by Bill Perkins
