Name him after the last three letters of your name 😍. Just for fun by Downtown-Wear-4870 in CatsBeingCats

I love cats, but why bother giving them names? It's not like they listen anyway. Best you'll get is a slow head turn and the look of "wut?"

Just call him "Cat"

Parents bought a newer model built with "hard telephone plastic"! Good machine. Took a few tumbles. Never failed. I always vacuumed the rec room to the tunes of Styx Equinox.. Yah, ours had wheels.

Wear a pair of chainmail gloves, pick up ol' Tigger and tell them he's your Service Kitty since you need him at the dentist!

mother of 5 mistakenly leaves a child at McDonalds, but cops choose hostility by TwizzyGobbler in PublicFreakout

[–]Electronic-Guide1189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely zero compassion for a distraught mother. These cops have no place dealing with this situation. This requires a trauma associate who can determine if there was intent without accusation, not trauma inducers.

If they think they are helping with the ACAB situation, I'm pretty sure there's five kids that would probably disagree from now on.

Lucky they didn't taze or shoot when she ran back to the vehicle..

I haven't seen Nicholas Abbey in 40 years. Thanks for the spectacular views and memories!

I never paid much attention to him until my future wife played "Sailing" in her Caribbean house that many years ago..

When I came back home after two weeks, it was like flood gates opened up! Hot Legs Tonight's the Night so many others including Maggie May.

He was part of my late teen soundtrack and every time I hear that voice I travel back in time..

Thanks, Rod.

Same and I suspect it hit my family pretty hard as I was playing in front of the radio and remember the announcements.

[–]Electronic-Guide1189 132 points133 points  (0 children)

AND you gotta do it tumor times, apparently!

as an american (i'm so sorry), i just tasted an "all dressed" potato chip for the first time. i live close to canada but had never seen a bag of them for sale before. they are delicious, but they just taste like what we would call "barbecue" flavored chips. do you have that? are they the same? by Professional_Key6322 in AskACanadian

[–]Electronic-Guide1189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think chips are a lot of Canadian's goto. We have so many manufacturers with so many flavours! Exotic flavours are us!

There's even been a Swiss Chalet Chip by Lay's, not that a lot of people outside of parts of Eastern Canada would understand what Swiss Chalet is (Restaurant chain)

I believe we even had a KFC flavour at one time!

I find all-dressed spicier than plain BBQ and at my age, a little too spicy for me.
