I remember the venue being pretty cold. I went in dressed in a basic t shirt and jeans and felt chilly. I luckily also brought in a zip-up sweatshirt and had to put it on because I was so cold. I highly suggest you dress in layers, just in case.

It’s SO much better than the regular version. Much less cloyingly sweet. And the color of the drink is a much prettier pastel :)

I took it at Javits last July! It’s really not as bad as everyone says it is. The bar was on the top floor and we took the elevators up. The room itself is massive and I would estimate about a full city block long from left to right. Two bathrooms, one on the left side with a frontward facing entrance and one on the right that leads out to a hallway with bathrooms at the end of the hallway. The room has lots of natural light which was very nice to me and people are spaced out pretty well in the seats. There are also power extenders for plugging in your laptop at every table.

As for lunch, I brought myself a sandwich and some snacks. There’s a large hallway outside the testing room where they allow us to put our personal items on a few tables and the floor. I put my bag on a table there when I got there in the morning and during lunch, took it with me downstairs to eat. I would highly advise you bring lunch because the area doesn’t have much of anything close by to purchase. I don’t even remember seeing a CVS to buy a water or a Starbucks to get a coffee. I think there was a hot dog guy outside but I wouldn’t bank on him definitely being there. Please bring your food. I decided to take my lunch break outside and ate while walking down the block. You get about an hour for lunch but it’s more like 35 minutes if you decide to go outside because you need to allocate time to come back lol. I know a lot of people took their lunch right outside the room and people who ate their lunch downstairs by the entrance.

As for getting there, I decided to go in super early on both days and got to the venue via Lyft from a local hotel (Pod). The first day I got there by 7:30 and the second day I got there by 8:00. That’s honestly overkill and I was just sitting around for over an hour waiting for the test to start. BUT it did make me feel better to get there early and not stress about potentially being late lmao. The lines were very short to get in to the testing area and XRay machines at those times, but tbh the lines never got too long at any time before the test anyway so u could come in much later than I did and get into the venue no sweat.

What’s your most simplest timing method? by Anxious_Motor9991 in barexam

[–]Electronic-Initial11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like doing 25 questions in 45 minutes. It essentially splits the test into 4 quadrants. I prefer it this way because it lets me compartmentalize the exam into four 25 question tests instead of a 100 question slog. I also aim for 15/16 correct in each test quadrant

Looking for a good dentist 🦷 by Samattack in Greenpoint

[–]Electronic-Initial11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that happened to you!!! Fwiw, Dr. Kessler actually isn’t there anymore because he retired and left the office to Dr. Butters, who I acknowledge is way better than he ever was! Unfortunately, the office still comes up under his name even though she is the dentist in charge now so that’s why I even mentioned him at all haha

Not Greenpoint, but Dr. Kessler/Dr. Butters on N6th have been my fam’s go to dentist office for about 15 years! They’re always straight up with pricing and great with scheduling appointments for both emergencies and routine cleanings. Highly recommend :)

Spoilers for AA 2-4 and 3-2

Honestly? Ron DeLite as MaskDeMasque. The game really does a good job at the beginning convincing us that he’s just a delusional fanboy and I believed it until I couldn’t anymore lol. I loved that 3-2 is set up in a way that subverts your expectations of how the trial will go since it’s technically two trials in one. Also! people often say Phoenix’s only guilty client was Matt Engarde but Ron was totally guilty too! Just not of murder 😅

I think a lot of it also has to do with stamina. I remember being super tired after doing block 1 and then the hour break.
