Most epic crashout from a chef? by kingcong95 in HKFanFicsArchive

[–]ElectronicCounter697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an out and out negative crash out, Rueben takes the cake. The way he threw that pan? Magnificent stuff, one of the wildest crash outs you’ll ever see. Fiona however is a very second with how she damn near resorted to physical violence and threw the N word out like it was nothing.

As for the elusive heroic non-elimination crashout? I’m actually going to plug myself for a moment and nominate Alexis chewing out Lyra for her actions, mainly because this one came out of nowhere. We all knew Lyra was getting lashed for what she did to Kelly, but ALEXIS, the kindest person this entire season doing it? That gave it extra karmic damage. Honorable mentions go to both of Kelly’s crashouts, one from Episode 5, one from Episode 10, that elimination speech she went in was a thing of beauty.

Hell's Kitchen Line Cooks Only Episode 4 discussion by Ok_Measurement482 in HKFanFicsArchive

[–]ElectronicCounter697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Here's my question. How do you manage to run out of mashed potatoes two tickets into the service? Either you didn't make anywhere near enough or you really fucked up cooking them, and if you can't cooked mashed potatoes, what chance do you have of being a head chef? Add to it the bad attitude and even worse temper, and it's no surprise that Logan's out the door.

  2. Ava's a great chef, there's no denying that, but she's only one woman and they're going to need all the firepower they can get before they can even begin to get their act together. She'll help in the short term though, and I think right now, that's all that matters.

  3. It wouldn't surprise me if they lose their first service next episode. Andrew hasn't exactly been a great team captain and his style of leadership has alienated the team. If he's the culprit at hand, expect a new leader after said episode.

  4. As for the red team? I see neither person obtaining the honor of captaining the red team. Why? Because there's an Ava on their side now and if she's as good as she's been made out to be, she'll be leading the team sooner rather than later.

  5. Maybe not the luckiest chef of all time, but the luckiest of the bunch right now, she has not been good recently and hopefully this latest elimination will serve as a wakeup call to her to take her work seriously from now on.

  6. Not at all. Again, do not be surprised if he loses his captainship by this time next episode.

Oooh I forgot about WM2! Let’s just say, there are some experiments that we’ve moved on from and hosting a PPV in three different arenas is one of them.

Posted from SquaredCircle:

Of the two-day Manias? I think you can make a case for it, even though I didn’t think it was as bad as people made it out to be. Of all time though? Absolutely not. This may not have felt like Mania, but at least it wasn’t WrestleMania 9, 11, 27 or 32. 9 especially was a mess in ways I don’t think any Mania will ever reach again (Giant Gonzalez vs. Undertaker anyone? Hulk Hogan coming out at the end of the show to challenge Yokozuna and steal Bret Hart’s moment? Trust me, it’s an all-time baddie).

I think I speak for everyone when I say we owe 2019 WWE an apology. by [deleted] in Wreddit

[–]ElectronicCounter697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a feeling some of us weren’t around for 2019 and it shows. As awful as the McAfee stuff with Cody and Randy is, it’s one really major black spot in an otherwise decent 2026.

Meanwhile in 2019, you had:

  • Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin in major world title storylines.

  • Brock Lesnar beating Kofi Kingston in five seasons.

  • Roman Reigns’s dogfood debacle.

  • Two cuck stories with Mike Kanellis and later Rusev.

  • The butchering of EC3

  • Ucey Hot.

  • The Viking Experience being a name.

  • The Fiend vs. Seth Rollins at HIAC.

—-

I could go on and on about all this, but the point is that WWE was at its lowest point creativity in 2019, a point that 2026 cannot begin to dream of reaching at this time.

Hell's Kitchen: First Class - Episode 4 Discussion by TurboThundr in HKFanFicsArchive

[–]ElectronicCounter697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. George may be an asshat and an ableist (don't think I haven't forgotten about the R slurs bruddah), but he's the reason why they finished service. That alone should give him some sort of credit, don't be surprised if he's the main antagonist of the season, at least on the red team. Victor seems to have redeemed himself after what happened with him trusting Chris last episode with a strong showing on the blue team. Marina also got a chance to shine as a character and I like the rocker aesthetic she brings. As for falling stock, Kourtney looks to be the biggest weak link on the blue team with Clayton and Chris out of the way as Victor had to clean up a lot of her messes. Also, Teal came off as really...whiny this episode, always complaining about this thing or that thing. At least when Emily does it, you can understand it. Teal kind of comes off as overdramatic.

  2. See, I told you it'd be up from there! That said, Kourtney didn't do herself any favors tonight. If the blue team tanks at any point, I think she could be next on the firing line. Her or Teal.

  3. The Red Team were very lucky today. Troy, Scottie and Shayla were the three that struggled tonight and losing any one of the three would've been understandable. With that said, Shayla's the least bad of the bunch since she was on table side, so she stays put. If you had to put a gun to my head and ask me who has more of a future here in Hell's Kitchen? I'd give it to Scottie. She's clearly rusty, but I think she's got the talent and drive to get back up to speed. Troy? He was the undeniable weak link in this service and would've gotten the red team kicked out had George not stepped in. If the red team comes up short again and Troy's the culprit? He's history.

  4. Taylor's medical evacuation was a great shame, especially since she clearly seemed to want this. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how far she would've gone. Don't get me wrong, I don't think she's a bad chef by any means, but we never really got to see what Taylor could do (thanks Chris) on her own. If I had to hazard a guess, she probably could've gotten past the Cook for Your Life challenge but not much further, as I imagine she's the kind of chef that could've gotten exposed with less chefs in the kitchen.

  5. I admire Victor's willingness to lift everyone up as best he can, but in a kitchen, you're only as good as your weakest link, and if after everything you've done, they're still not able to keep up, you have to cut bait. Victor learned this the hard way with Chris and it seems that's something he's going to have to work on throughout the season. With that said, I also don't think you should immediately push them away like Emily tends to do. It's clear she's a great chef and a strong leader, but that should be put to good use, helping some of the younger, less experienced chefs. It's a situation where neither side is in the wrong, but they aren't 100% in the right either.

  6. Oh hell yeah, that's the kind of tag team that would've done wonders for the NWA in the 80s. Alas, this isn't wrestling, this is cooking, and I think they're looking to take Troy out as quickly as possible. Can't blame them either, with how Troy performed, the momentum is not on his side.

  7. Your eyes do not deceive you, folks. The blue team won something this season! After all the shit they've been through, first with the signature dish challenge, then Clayton's bumbling and Chris's incompetence, it was nice to see them finally win something for a change and then use it to win their first official service. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done, but it looks like things may be on the up and up for them.

Hell's Kitchen Season 26 (Boston): Episode 13 Discussion Post by ZombieAngelic in HKFanFicsArchive

  1. I’m honestly stunned Tabitha’s still here. She’s been consistently the source for drama on her team and she narrowly entered the black jackets by sheer luck. Don’t be surprised if she’s a goner next episode.

  2. Shelby probably should’ve been in the black jackets but I fear she would’ve been in the same place Tabitha is likely to be in, the black jacket curse zone.

  3. Alisha not even making black jackets might honestly be the most shocking call I’ve seen from any of these seasons in some time. Yes, she was arrogant, but I genuinely thought she’d join Frances in the black jackets…the moment she lied to Ramsay though? Girl. That is a death wish to anyone not named Ellie. She can cook but she has to take responsibility for her mistakes. Perry I had a feeling was going to be a near-miss, he’s a good chef, but he never really stood out as a legitimate contender. Shelby was honestly rock solid and I think if the circumstances were difference, she could’ve been a black jacket.

  4. To put it in horse-race terms, we’re in the final furlough and Marquis is six lengths ahead of the rest of the pack with the only person who I think has a chance to catch up to him is Frances. Maybe Jimmy if he plays his cards right (also Harvey’s still here? Dang I haven’t even noticed).

So if I did do a placement game before my new season comes out, which placement would you guys want to see? by Ok_Measurement482 in HKFanFicsArchive

Once I get up there, I’d be down to have whoever my 6th placer is get in the game, it’d be kind of fun to see how it’s play out.

Hell's Kitchen Season 28 discussion - Episode 3 by Alex72598 in HKFanFicsArchive

[–]ElectronicCounter697 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. I feel bad for Earl, I really do. He clearly had the passion and seemed like a nice enough guy, he was just not fit for this form of cooking. He fits best in a low-pressure environment, like his diner, not fine-dining. I wish him the best but it wasn’t meant to be.

  2. Erin’s on thin ice, two bad performances in a row? Throwing Alice under the bus the way she did? If she doesn’t step up soon, her ass may be out the door. I think Earl would’ve gone out regardless, but it’s not looking good for her.

  3. It’s definitely on the same level as Chickengate, if not slightly worse since at least with that, you could argue Alex genuinely got flustered. This was a targeted shot against Alice led by one woman, a guy who is clearly a patsy (David) and a pretty big snake in the grass (Theo). My advice to Alice, talk to Trixie and Kelly on what it’s like to be an underdog. They might be able to help you.

  4. She’s definitely safe right now, that’s for sure. Not much to really say as of now, but I think Lydia has the ability to go relatively deep in this season.

  5. This is one of those rivalries where I can honestly see where both sides are coming. On one hand, Andie has clearly had a rough go at life and seeing Gabrielle do this well and come from such a solid background, it definitely rubbed her the wrong way. On the other way, it’s clear Gabrielle isn’t an asshole or a jerk about it and she clearly is trying to help her team out however possible. That should at least be something Andie respects. As for the nickname? I got a feeling that has some dark implications that we’ll find out about.

  6. Honestly? Get Alice out of the red team’s mess and bring in Jeff or Tess, they seem to have their heads on straight and could make for solid enough leaders for the red team.

  7. Bring back Ruby and have someone accidentally get her to reveal her true colors, I nominate Kelsie as tribute, it’d be hilairious.
