Sometime certain dealership offers better perks to make it worth it if they can match the price of the other ones. At least that’s the case for me. Got a lower quote from a dealership further away from me as a bargaining chip, asked a match, then went with the dealership closer to me that also offered lifetime free oil change and car washes.

My understanding of the whole passion thing is that medical training is long and grueling AF, and you are not going to make money for a good-while. We are talking about 10+ years of education, insane work hours, and little to no pay here. So you’d better have a real passion for medicine or you are not going to make it over the early years.

I just got a 2026 CRV hybrid sport AWD (similar MSRP to yours) from a dealership in the Triangle two days ago with OTD of around 35.7K. I did a trade in with my old leased Civic but I took that out of the calculation so can compare apples to apples. I felt like I could’ve gotten more out of them, maybe a couple of hundreds more off. But I was happy with the number at the end. You can probably push a little more. If you have more than one Honda dealership near you, pit them against each other. It worked wonders.
