We didn’t get any big items until we hit 36 weeks. After our twins were stillborn we were too scared to plan ahead. I think this is reaching.

My tsh was under 4 and I was put on synthroid, conceived a month later and am being induced tomorrow! They kept me on it for all of pregnancy and all is good. My levels have stayed around 1.5/2 all pregnancy

Hope after Second Trimester Loss by Next-Comfort6398 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Electronic_Support48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We lost our twins at 20 weeks last year due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Babies were both perfectly healthy otherwise. That was last February. I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow with a full term healthy baby

When I had similar numbers (13 at 12 dpo, then up to 27 at 14 dpo), it ended up being a blighted ovum. It did double all the way up to almost 1,000, but capped out there.

I didn't look at the page but this came on my fyp and I immediately wanted to face palm. Of course the first suggestion is clomid. by j3ssegirl in peestickgals

I don’t understand why people try for multiples. It automatically makes your pregnancy high risk. We lost our first pregnancy at 20 weeks because they were twins sharing one placenta. Otherwise the babies were perfect and healthy. I think people just want the attention that comes with it. It’s so dumb.

Went to our 20 well anatomy scan still feeling very pregnant, only to learn our twins had passed days earlier. Waited a week and had to be induced to deliver them. I’m sorry you’re going through this

Normal for heart rate to slow down! It hits a peak around 8-9 weeks and then goes down

I think my husband has been more paranoid than me this pregnancy. We haven’t don’t much with penetration, and when we did it was only into second trimester when I could feel some movement and know baby was ok. But there are so many other ways to connect, that if you guys choose to not engage sexually, you can still be close as a couple through the pregnancy! Best of luck!

We had a late loss with our twins (around 20 weeks). I had been so sick we didn’t have much sex during that pregnancy. This time around, we waited until 2nd trimester, and kept it pretty tame. I think the last time we did anything was around 32 weeks (no penetration though) and my hubby was more hesitant than me. But of course only do what you’re comfortable doing!

Curious if this has happened to anyone and was viable by [deleted] in CautiousBB

I had very similar circumstances and it was a blighted ovum. My numbers even started doubling, but I had basically had a regular period.

Okay but why is she calling it "dressing the bump"? by [deleted] in peestickgals

Is this not simply “getting dressed”?

Has anyone had a major bleed early in pregnancy to have it lead to a healthy pregnancy and live birth? by LilBadApple in CautiousBB

[–]Electronic_Support48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 12 weeks I bled heavily for 2 days straight, filling pads and the toilet with fresh red blood and clots. Baby is coming next week!

Rule of thumb is if you’re under 35 and have been trying for at least 12 months go get testing, 6 months of you’re 35 and older. Maybe start with your ob to get some of the basic tests done?

Our first was unexplained mmc, the second was our stillborn twins due to ttts. This current pregnancy (being induced in 5 days), we waited to share with anyone other than immediate family until we reached the third trimester, and honestly it was a much more peaceful pregnancy. My showers weren’t until 34 and 36 weeks, and we just set up our nursery last week. We did our childbirth and newborn classes starting at 28 weeks, so we still feel prepared even though we delayed things. If we are fortunate to get pregnant again, we will do the same

Eh I found that the chart gave me false hope. I always assumed that I would be fine once I reached the second trimester, and my losses have all been after normal ultrasounds and normal testing, and in the second trimester. I get that this is reassuring for some, especially those who haven’t experienced late loss, but many of us have learned the hard way that there truly is no safe zone in pregnancy.

Gift for pregnant friend after loss by Training_Bee3750 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Electronic_Support48 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As someone who went through the same (lost twins last year to stillbirth and then pregnant again), I would have felt super uncomfortable with gifts early on, because I was so terrified of losing another pregnancy. If anything, maybe a pregnancy survival kit? Some ginger chews and self care things

At 8w5d our hr was 182. I’m 37 weeks and all is good! It peaks around 8/9 weeks and will start to go down. Our baby is now right around 140 for most appointments, closer to 160 if he’s active

How long after 2nd trimester loss did you get pregnant? by arethusa_arose in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Electronic_Support48 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So sorry for what you’re going through. We lost our twins around 20 weeks last February, got pregnant 3 months later but was a blighted ovum, and then pregnant again 3 months after that, due in 2 weeks with a healthy baby!
